A: The 3.6V Lithium-Ion battery stays charged and ready for up to 18 months. The Battery is not replaceable.

Disappointing Tool
I have had these shears for 9 and 1/2 months. I’ve used them 5 or six times and they’re broken. Had I known how short a time they’d work I’d have purchased something else.

Love the grass shear combo
This was a wise purchase. I use it around head stones at the cemetery, around my flower bed to clip and even things up. I had one that lasted for many years and now I am happy again. This has lived up to all the pro that was given.

A Solid Tool!
After using the tool for a few months, I have say that it works great. We have used it to trim around the base of over 20 trees each week and around our house. The only drawback is that it takes a few hours to charge. If you have the time to charge it, this tool is a thumbs up!

Wrist saver
Trimmer works great, thought battery would be too small as I was replacing the 7.2V version I had for 18yrs but this little guy is lighter and does a good job. Three of my neighbours have since ordered one after seeing the work I could do with this little guy.

Lightweight and easy to use

Works Great!
Purchased this to do some light grass trimming around fence posts, tree bases, and lawn drains, as well as light hedge trimming of topiary. This product performs well for what it is designed for. It is not intended for large, or heavy duty jobs.

Great little trimmer
Got this for Xmas & I can tell you the hedge trimmer has saved me so much time. As a senior I don't care to deal with a huge electric trimmer. This little girl is light and does the job. Don't know who came up with having to squeeze the handle and push a button at the same time to operate it. That's why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Also I can tell you first hand Black & Decker customer service was great when I needed their help.

Easy to use
This is the second B&D grass shear/shrubber that I have bought and used. It is perfect for trimming around bushes with the blades sharp enough that you don't have to go over the same grass over again and again. The only thing I don't like is the having to push a button to engage the blade but my hubby fixed it so I can bypass that feature. When I wear this one out I will definitely buy another B&D.
