    Doesn't say, non-gmo sourced. If it's lab altered corn, which the US does. List it clearly. Many don't want any Bioengineering stuff!

While this product is made from Non-GMO corn, it (and other corn products) is not able to be Non-GMO Project Verified due to prohibitively heightened regulatory structure and/or because our supplier’s manufacturing information is deemed proprietary such that it cannot be shared with the Non-GMO Project. However, while this product is technically “unverified” by the Non-GMO Project, we continue to follow our internal food safety and quality programs of sourcing only non-GMO ingredients.     We've been enjoying Bob's Red Mill products for a while now and then couldn't find what we were looking for in the stores readily.     We usually get our corn meal fresh ground at an old grist mill in one of our State Parks but the grist mill broke down and needs repairs. That put us on the hunt for the next best option. We LOVE this corn meal, it's as close to what we can get from our local mill

    Best Cornmeal

    I enjoy all of your products. Some of them I can get at our local grocery store (Ray's Food Place). Our store manager keeps the shelves well stocked. The only baking soda I use is from you too. I have some special needs when it comes to eating, and you cover them all. thank you.

    Bob's GF Cornmeal

    I depend on Bob's Red Mill GF cornmeal to prepare corn bread, dressing, etc. I do most of the cooking at family dinners and am the only person who must eat gluten free. Without it, I would not be able to enjoy those family dinners that mean so much these days.

    I love this cornmeal for making corn muffins. It gives a great flavor with the traditional “grit”. It also makes a tasty topping for cobblers when added to your favorite topping mix. Great on berries.

    It's been so difficult to find safe gluten free cornmeal for muffins or cornbread or even cakes, and I love to bake! I was diagnosed with celiac disease in late 2004, so i have to be very careful with everything I buy, including eye drops, medicines, etc.

    Crunchy but tender and delicious

    I love the crunch in my corn bread or old fashioned corn pones. I marinate (at least one hour) my cat fish fillets in a hot sauce like Louisiana hot sauce or Tabasco and then roll in seasoned (spicy) Bob's Red Mill medium grind gluten free corn meal - then fry. Crunchy and delicious ! I also fry shrimp in 1/4 c. gluten free Bob's flour and 3/4 C. gluten free Bob's gluten medium grind corn meal with seasoning and fry 3 minutes - delicious! I love corn bread made with Bob's cornmeal in my cornbread dressing also.
