A Solid Everyday Phone That Delivers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impressions of the Galaxy A16 have been really good. The setup process was simple and quick, which made getting started stress free. The phone has a nice, comfortable feel in hand and the display is clear and bright, making everyday use like browsing and watching videos enjoyable. Performance has been smooth for daily tasks like messaging, social media, and apps, with no major issues so far. The battery life is definitely a standout, it easily lasts me through the day without needing to worry about charging. The camera is great for everyday photos, producing clear and natural looking shots, especially in good lighting. It’s perfect for capturing moments on the go without needing anything too fancy. Overall, the Galaxy A16 is a reliable and easy to use phone that offers great value. It does everything I need it to and has been a solid choice so far.

I'm one of those guys that doesn't read the manual, for THIS VERY REASON...Every time I start playing with my phone, I get a new surprise. I love it!!! Recharges quick, lasts longer battery wise. I uses to always buy the s series but since buying the A series ive realised just how similar they are! Im quite a simple gal so the A16 does everything i need! 1. It Does'nt overheat 2. Takes great photos and videos (front and back) and 3. Still has that "expensive look".

Decent cheap phone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downgraded to a cheap basic phone after a disappointing experience with a Z Fold, where the inside screen stopped working very soon after the warranty expired, & the repair cost was astronomical, so I used it as a sub standard small screen phone for two more years while I paid it off. This phone is very bottom of the range & has half the storage of the previous phone so it's taking soe getting used to.

Worst phone
I have had this phone for a month and tried to give it an honest chance, it has repeatedly failed, it glitches, runs slow, shuts my apps down when I'm using them or will freeze, it disconnects from my car frequently when I'm using GPS or just listening to music and when I'm typing the keyboard will disappear. I have never felt the need to leave a review for anything but this phone is horrible and makes me want to throw it against a wall. I have done the updates and the very frequent restarts but this phone is more frustrating than anything, even typing this now the phone keeps glitching. Save your money

Hey there Gingersnap, Thank you for sharing your experience with your Galaxy A16 5G. Based on the behavior you've described; it seems that your device may occasionally benefit from quick optimization. When multiple apps are running in the background, it can slow down your phone’s processor, leading to app closures or your phone stalling. To maintain optimal performance, you can use the Device care feature, which provides an overview of your battery, storage, and RAM. This feature automatically optimizes your phone or tablet for faster, better performance. The Quick optimization tool enhances your device’s performance by identifying apps that consume excessive battery power. It also clears unnecessary items from memory, deletes unneeded files, scans for malware, and closes background apps. Optimizing your phone is quick and simple. Just go to Settings, swipe to and tap Device care, then select Optimize now, and tap Done. For more information on keeping your device running smoothly, please check out the online article linked below. If you continue to experience issues, please reach out to our Samsung Support Team for tailored troubleshooting options. Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Samsung. A 16 pure junk or a paper weigh
this phone is worst of the A series . performance wise the phone lags always displaying a system UI error message that it goes to black out makes it hard to get to come back on sometimes takes 30 sec to 2 min to come on. Me and my girl phone they're both purchased at same time she has trouble from hers also same problems with mine mind I think is a little bit worse than hers. I'm really expect Sam Cinder I'm really expect Samsung to fix this issue these errors internal programming issue or something I would trade out trade out to a core lesser core lesser Value phone at point this one's so hard to get to work right cool lesser Value phone at this point this one's so hard to get to work right it's about ready for the trash I've only had two months or we've had ours about 2 months they should have lasted longer than that so to Samsung that just needs to be resolved and fixed immediately. some company has knows about these a16s and all the problems they have had in production or having issues with them having too many issues with them in their software problems and whatnot yeah they're junk yes please Samsung company immediately please and thank you

Great As A Basic Phone
I've had this device for close to a year now as a second phone and it has been great for what its worth. The screen is bright and clear. The screen response to haptic input is a little sluggish and delayed but it's tolerable. I love the fact that there's an expandable storage available on this device as it came with just 128gb of storage. The camera is decent minus the bells and whistles that my S25 Ultra has. Battery life is good and usually last about 3 days of minimal use. I would recommend this phone for someone who's not looking for a high tech device but rather a usable phone for daily use.
