  • A: I am an older woman with a smaller head. The Bose QC fit my head but were very lose. Which doesn't work well with the noise cancelling aspect. I am now in the process of looking for a brand that carries smaller sizes but still has good noise cancelling. I would appreciate any suggestions.

  • A: Hi mlawglass, thanks for reaching out about JBL Tune Buds True Wireless Bluetooth Active Noise Canceling Earbuds Bose headphones are very comfortable and the headband of it can be adjusted very well. If you continue to have trouble with the size of headphones, take a look online for "headband covers" which are made to fit around the top of the headband to fit smaller sizes. • A: Thanks for your question. We'd always recommend giving the headphones a try, and seeing how you get on with them. If the headphones are too big for you (even on the smallest size), you can of course take advantage of the returns period of the seller you purchased the headphones from.

Q: Does the material/ fabric easily peel? After owning Beats Solo for 1 yr.; they are disgustingly peeling. I know Bose is a phenomenal product, I still own a 2008 sound system.

submitted by Shop too much - 1 month ago
  • A: Ear cushions are wearable items that can wear down with time or certain conditions (i.e. temperature, improper storage, type of usage, accidental damage, etc.) It is then recommended to replace them after a certain period, if they start deteriorating.

This is my second BOSE QC headphones. I purchased the 2nd after the first were lost on a trip out west. I tried to use earplugs until I got the replacements but they just did not cut out the background noise. I use them in restaurants and other public places. While they allow the voice band through, all of the background noise is gone and I am much more comfortable reading with them on.

Bought these because earbuds irritate my ear canals. Didn't think I would love them this much. Last time I used quiet comfort headphones was gen 1 way back in the day, they've become SO much better! I absolutely am blown away by the ANC features and "wind mode".

I've had multiple brands of headphones over the years (Beats, Marshall). In terms of sound quality, Bose are the best. The only negative aspect is: when you have these around your neck while not in use, if you do not either switch off power or switch from aware mode to quiet mode... you get a lot of high pitch feedback. Not the end of the world, minor point. Support issue: I wanted to add the insurance coverage after receiving the headphones. I had also purchased the QuietComfort earbuds and wanted to add coverage for both products. I was told you can only add coverage during the initial purchase at checkout. The solution was to return the products and repurchase including insurance. This is inconvenient, so I did not bother. A better solution would be to give the owner up to 60 days to add coverage, like Apple does. 30 days, 14 days, 7 days.... any grace period is better than nothing.

Pros: cute, light-weight, noise cancellation good. Sound/music okay. Volume control good too. Cons: call connection not good, could barely hear me talking, and also picked up on wind & traffic (even with the wind reduce feature) The cloth on the inside didn’t appear to be flat or laying correctly. I removed the pad/ear cushions to look and you could see the glue under was kinda messy. Decided to return them immediately. Maybe purchase again, or get a diff model. I expected more quality from Bose (I always buy Apple but haven’t heard great things about the Air Max so I went w Bose).

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your QuietComfort headphones. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the design, noise cancellation, and volume control—but we’re truly sorry the call quality and build didn’t meet your expectations. Your experience with the mic performance and the ear cushion issue is not what we aim for, and we’d love the opportunity to make this right. Here's a troubleshooting guide that can help you resolve the microphone issues: https://support.bose.com/s/article/qc-headphonearn-microphone-does-not-pick-up-sound?language=en_US And regarding the ear cushion kit, that’s something that can be replaced if needed. You can either send us a message or visit bose.com to purchase a replacement kit directly. -Jelyn, Bose Customer Support

You must buy these! They are so incredibly comfortable, I can wear them for hours without issue. I love the difference between the active and quiet modes. I’ve been using AirPods for years but wanted to try noise cancelling headphones for when I listen to audiobooks or just need some “quiet” after a busy day with the kids. These are game changer and the chilled lilac color is beautiful.

The headphone sound and noise suppression are fantastic. But I don't like not getting an in-the-box operating manual. The idea having to depend on the internet and scanning codes for setup information is irritating. Say in 3 yrs from now, if I have an issue or question with the headphones, I want to go directly to the hands-on written operating manual. Maybe not having an in-box manual is the future. Could it be that today's youth can't read or comprehend detailed written information?
