BRIO Moderna Ice Dispenser & Bottom Load Water Cooler

We had the cooler a short time before it decided to flood the floor with an entire 5gal bottle of water. Not sure what happened but it pumped water out of the icemaker side until it emptied the tank and 5gal water bottle.

Worked great for a little over 2 years then the cooling fan started to go bad. Can't even get it taken apart to even replace the fan. Not worth the money.

I went past the one-year warranty, it's leaking and it will not make ice they say it's out of warranty and they do not sell parts to fix it, their suggestion is for me to buy a new one at the fall discount.. I have always bragged on this company now I am going to go find one that will stand behind their product.

Weak pump didn’t last more than a year. Bout a replacement changed myself and it still didn’t work.

For the past three years, we’ve been using a countertop ice maker and five gallon water bottle with a battery-operated straw dispenser for our ice and water. This is so much more convenient! It has a water heater too so I feel a bit spoiled now. We live just outside of city water service and there’s arsenic in the ground water so we depend on bottled water for drinking. I’m so thankful brio makes a dispenser that accommodates the five gallon bottle system!

We purchased for our real estate office to have water for our coffee machine, tea, drinking, ramen soup, ice, etc. The machine has been working great we keep it filled with fresh clean rocky mountain well water and it is working great. The taste of the water from the machine is the same as out of the bottle. There is no added metal taste, plastic taste, etc. The water comes out however you desire, hot, cold, or frozen. The safety feature to keep hot water from dispensing by mistake works well which is important as there are children using the machine. The sound is not too noticeable and is not annoying.

My daughter is a big ice water girl so this has been a perfect choice for us. The cons are that it does require filling more often due to ice which is to be expected. I would love to see them drop the ledge so that you are able to get a water bottle under without spilling or having to open the door to the machine.

Bought this machine less than a year ago. At first no issues. Love the look of it and the features. Water always cold and ice dispenser a must have. Now the ice dispenser randomly stopped working. For the money I spent on this, unacceptable.

It’s convenient to get both ice and water from a dispenser but —you hear water pouring more often than I’d expect —it’s kind of loud —the ice is ‘wet’ like it started to melt —water flow could be wider —wish the platform for your glass was a foot higher. I’m 5’7 and I have to bend down to put my glass down —wish the hot water could be made hotter —wish there was an ambient water temperature

We love the water cooler this is our second one and we enjoy the water and ice features of this product. Nice height and tall enough for long water bottles to fit under it

Very happy with my purchase. Having ice dispenser with this water dispenser is really nice. No need to contaminate the ice with dirty hands. The only thing is, it’s not that quiet. I got scared the first night thinking of someone else was inside the house. Come to find out it was the dispenser making ice. So just be aware that you’ll hear noises in your kitchen. Lol

Easy to set up and use. It looks nice in our house as well. It replaced a bottom load water only dispenser so we could have ice & water not treated by our water softening system.

This is our second Brio water cooler. We used to take water from the cooler and freeze ice cubes. Now it's all in one. I really like the taller space for larger cups. Expensive for a water cooler but not a so expensive when you add an ice maker with storage and a water cooler. So far, we really like the product. Nice innovation, Brio.

Sucks I was pretty excited about this water dispenser but was disappointed when the water started tasting like metal, so I serviced it how it's instructed like the manufacture but after two times and many water wasted, the taste was still consistent and couldn't get ride of it. Hopefully I don't have to pay for a re stocking fee for a defective item

DO NOT BUY! I should have listened to the other reviews. Our Brio Moderna water cooler showed up today. I got everything setup and let it sit for 6 hours. I noticed that the blue light for the "ice" and "cold water" NEVER turned off. The manual says it takes up to 1 hour to cool the water, and up to 4 hours to make ice. I tried to get ice and nothing came out. Water comes out, but it's not cold. I opened the bottom door and I found water spilled everywhere! I watched the pipes for a few minutes and it's leaking. I had water all over my floor. This is a horrible product and should be recalled by Brio after yet another negative review! The unit is broken. DO NOT BUY!

It's a solid device! The quality is there and it works nicely. It's a bit loud when the ice cubes are being made at night in a quiet household, tastes a bit odd at first (goes away after first 5 gallons) and the sticker on the top is not great, but overall, we're happy.
