Description
Usage Directions: Before use, wash water bottle in top rack of dishwasher or by hand with warm soapy water. Water Bottle filters dont require soaking. Rinse filter under running water for 15 seconds. Place new filter into housing and press down firmly until filter is flush with straw. Align lid and straw in unlocked position, then rotate straw to lock. Replace water filter every 2 months or 40 gallons. When replacing the filter, look for item number 60258 35818, the black Brita Bottle Replacement Filters. Fill your bottle with tap water and enjoy. Substances reduced may not be in all users water.

Q: Does this product safely filter bacteria including Ecoli?

While our Premium Filtering Water Bottle's filter doesn't filter bacteria, it reduces chlorine (taste & odor) and Class VI particulates from municipally treated tap water. Our products are not intended to purify water and shouldn't be used with water that is microbiological unsafe or of unknown quality. Q: With normal brita systems, the amount of water passing through the filter slows the water down. Since the water is going through the filter as you drink it, is there less water available to drink.
