This “newer” version of CR’s cooling gel pillow does not even compare to the one I’ve used in the past. Their previous did not have “bubbles” and it actually did COOL. This version does NOT cool, if anything it retains heat! I am so incredibly bummed that I’ve wasted money on yet another pillow that claims something it is not. Bring back the older version with the letters “CR” instead of these annoying and HOT bubbles.

I’ve ordered this pillow in the past maybe 2-3 years ago in a queen size. I love that pillow but I was wanting a size smaller so I ordered a standard size. The new standard pillow is nothing like the queen size one. The memory foam is very firm and the color of the foam is different so makes me think it’s not the quality it use to be. The new one is like a brick and I will be returning. The quality is just not there for me.

I woke during the night with the worst neck and head aches. Just reclining on the pillow during the day elicited the same results. I paid too much to just throw it away so it's in my guest room. To date, none of my guests want to give it a new home after a 1-2 night trial.

My favorite pillow
I was given this "Blue Bubble Pillow" a few years ago as a gift. I have purchased two more since. They last a long time (I'm finally replacing the one I got as a gift after 2 years) and the cooling side of the pillow is great. I just bought one of the "Charcoal Gel Pillows" hoping it was just as good. But I am returning it and sicking with the "Blue Bubble Gel Pillow". (the charcoal only stays cool for maybe 3 min). I am prone to headaches in the night and the Blue Bubble Pillow has helped to alleviate them quite a bit.

I absolutely love this pillow! I have purchased three of them so far and I think that I’m going to need to get another one. Best pillow ever! There is a cool side with the cooling gel and the other side is warmer. Every time that someone uses one of my pillows, they end up keeping it and I have to replace it!

Me and my husband LOVE this pillow! We have other family members use it now too. It's the perfect density and the coolness is a huge plus. Also worth noting that Comfort Revolution has the best customer service! We had an issue with our pillow shipping out and they we're quick to help us out!

This pillow is so comfortable and dense- it doesn't lose it's shape throughout the night, and cradles my head in the perfect position for restful sleep. Some might think the pillow is too hard, but it is perfect for me.

Theyre cool
I received the pillows as gifts. They're very heavy to handle. One of them somehow leaked thru the pillow to the pillow case and my new sheet. It even hit the mattress cover. Very sticky. I washed the sheet and pillow cover but the sticky jelllike stuff does not come out. I am afraid It ruined my new sheet set. Is there a way to clean and take out the stain?

Cooling pillow is our family favorite.
We have had cooling pillows for the family for the last several years. Comfort Revolution was our first, the one that had the waves .We tried others ,even the knock offs, which didn't cool as well or last as long. I came back to Comfort Revolution to find you can only get the bubble not the wave cooling jell.It is different that is why the 4 stars .It is better than the rest that we have tried just not as good as the first one our family all had .Do you still make the one with waves? Has something been changed with the cooling jell ?

The pillow is ok but i thout it would be a little more firm than it is with the indicator of firmness when ordering. It does help keep my head cooled but that is it.

I was gifted a used one and loved it!
I have had neck problems for years and have always woken up with a stiff neck each morning. I tried pillow after pillow with no help found. Then about 3 years ago I visited a good friend of mine for a week, staying in his guest room. He had one of these pillows. I woke up without a stiff neck for the first time in years after one night! The support from this pillow was exactly what I had needed. I went on and on so much about this pillow and how great my neck felt, that my friend gave me his guest room pillow. Unfortunately, the tags had all been removed and I had no way to find a new one as a replacement. I used that old, used pillow happily for 3 years until I finally recognized the pillow in an ad. Now I have a brand new, king sized one on my bed, and my wife is using the old, gifted one! I'm going to have to buy her one also, I think! Such a great pillow if support for your head and neck is what you are looking for!!
