Bugaboo Butterfly 2 Ultra Compact Stroller

I’ve been using the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 Ultra Compact Stroller for a while now, and honestly it’s been such a lifesaver. The one-second fold is amazing! I can close it with one hand while holding my baby, which makes errands and travel so much easier. My little one seems super comfy in it, whether sitting up to look around or laying back for a nap. It’s really smooth to push, even on bumpy sidewalks, and feels sturdy but not bulky. The storage basket is bigger than I expected! I can fit my diaper bag, snacks, and a few extras with no problem. My favorite is the pocket in the back. I can’t think of anything I don’t like about this stroller! Overall, it’s amazing and makes everyday life so much easier. When my wife told me we were getting yet another stroller, I thought she was crazy. We have 6 kids and more strollers than I know what to do with--seriously, there is a whole section of our garage for strollers and then we have strollers in both car trunks (technically two strollers in the trunk of our van!). Now, with all that being said, she was absolutely right to want this stroller. It is excellent, I mean that truly, we are even getting rid of a few of our other strollers because this one checks so many boxes. (Huge thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me give this a try.) First of all, I am a huge fan of the color. It's not the typical black, nor is it overwhelmingly bright and patterned. It is a solid navy so that it has just enough character to look unique, while still having that modern, sleek appearance. It also helps that blue is my all-time favorite color. Even with how much I appreciate the blue, where this stroller really stands out is it's handling and steering. I can only think of it as the BMW of the stroller world. The slightest change and the stroller glides, literally glides, to where I want it to go. Yet, it's not so sensitive that it goes off on its own. Nope, it is like an extension of my arm. Yes, I understand that sounds like an exaggeration, but I truly mean it. This stroller steers so well that my 5 year old was able to push our 1 year old around our home, navigating tight corners, toy piles, napping dogs (big ones too- they're australian shepherds), and other siblings with ease. Adjustment is a piece of cake as well. My 3 year old is easily jealous of when my 1 year old has something new, so as soon as he saw my youngest in this stroller, he insisted he get a turn. Adjusting the harness to fit my 3 year old instead of my 1 year old took less than one minute. It was so simple. Like the steering of the stroller, the harness simply glided to where I wanted to reposition it to. However, this is where I would also love to see a slight change. Magnetic buckles are the way, friends. I have used them before and 100% love the ease and simplicity they give me. While this buckle isn't anything too crazy, it is 5 individual pieces you have to connect together and that does take more time and coordination than a simple magnetic buckle. If Bugaboo would implement this change, this stroller would literally be perfect. Finally, the canopy and the adjustable foot rest are great. I do have tall kids, so I would appreciate if the foot rest would go down a little further, but none of my kids seemed to be bothered. (You'll be able to see in the photos how my one year old's feet stretch a smidgen beyond the footrest when it's in the "down" position. For this reason, he prefers it to be up and more like a lounger.). Oh, that actually does remind me of the other change I would like to make. The canopy is amazing, very thick and durable fabric, and it extends SO far. However, the zipper to extend it gets kind of wedged/hidden between the canopy and the stroller and it a bit of a pain to get out when we want to unzip and open up that canopy to max length. I'm not sure why it's like this, but a slight repositioning of where that zipper rests would be excellent. Long story short, this stroller is amazing. I definitely recommend picking up the bumper bar too. My son loves being able to hold onto it while we're zooming about, whether it's through the store, the farmers market, or just on a walk. (Or while his siblings zoom him through the obstacle course of our home). It is definitely a top 3 stroller in our home, and I look forward to picking up an add-on board so my 3 year old can ride along too!

I’m so happy Stellar Reviews sent this stroller! It is an unbelievably smooth ride for my kiddo! I’ve had a ton of strollers and nothing compares to this one. The quality of material is SO nice! The five point harness and how it connects is very convenient. The straps are also very easily adjustable. The only downside would have this stroller would be that it can’t go back far enough for a newborn. This is overall an amazing stroller! Also, so so easy to fold up and compact!

I received this amazing stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I can honestly say I’d never heard of it before this. I was absolutely blown away by this stroller. First of all, the modern, sleek look with neutral color palette really stood out amongst its competition because it looked like something I could be proud pushing. Secondly, I could not believe the level of compactness it could do, and with one hand and the push of a button. I’d only ever seen one other brand that was this easy and I actually preferred this stroller to that competitor because it isn’t just for young infants. Thirdly, the smoothness of the ride and shocks made it so easy to push but also had a comfortable ride for my baby. My baby seemed so comfortable in it when he usually fights being in strollers. I have a smaller SUV and having a stroller that can collapse with one hand to the size of a large backpack was a GAME CHANGER. I cannot recommend this stroller enough for anyone that wants a stylish, compact, everyday or travel stroller.

I received the Bugaboo compact stroller from Stellar as part of their product testing panel, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with its performance. The overall convenience is outstanding. The one-second fold is a total game-changer, especially when juggling a busy day or tight storage spaces. My little one seemed very comfortable whether sitting upright or reclining for a nap. The seat offers great support and cushioning, and the adjustable recline was perfect for longer outings. Pushing and navigating this stroller was a breeze. The larger wheels and built-in suspension made every stroll smooth and stable, even on uneven sidewalks. Storage-wise, I appreciated how thoughtfully designed it was. The underseat basket made it easy to keep all our essentials organized and within reach, which made travel much simpler. Overall, this stroller delivers on both form and function — compact yet incredibly capable.

I received this stroller through Stellar Panel, and I am so impressed! It’s incredibly convenient, super lightweight, folds up compactly, and is ridiculously easy to open and close (which is a lifesaver when you’ve got your hands full). My daughter absolutely loves it, especially the soft padding on the straps.. such a thoughtful detail. The sunshade is long and AMAZING for keeping her comfortable and protected, and it glides so smoothly it honestly blew my mind. Definitely one of the best strollers I’ve used. practical, comfy, and smooth all in one!

1 star for target online experience and not for the stroller, which I never used but looked beautiful. Like others here, I received the wrong color not once but twice! To make matters worse, I had to return the stroller in-store twice, which was extremely inconvenient with a newborn

I loved *almost* everything about the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 Ultra Compact Stroller. It is by far one of the best baby gear items I have ever owned. The (truly!) one-second fold and unfold is incredible. It's so simple and smooth! I haven't experienced any baby gear with such simple setup. The convenience of being able to get the stroller ready or put away all while holding a screaming baby is so clutch! My baby was so comfy riding in this stroller, and being able to adjust the recline of the seat and the footrest was really nice for stroller naps. One thing I noticed is how amazing the straps are. There is a good amount of padding on them and they stay in place really well, so no getting twisted up or tangled or plugging the wrong buckle into the wrong spot. The padding stays on them really nicely. We had a problem losing the padding on some other stroller straps and it was so annoying. The ride on this thing is sooo smooth! It is silent and really stable taking turns and changing directions. And since it is so lightweight, it is super easy to push around and does not feel like a chore. I like the big open basket underneath the seat, but I feel like there should be a parent console up near the handle for more accessible storage. I tried to buy an off-brand parent console, but the way the stroller handle is made, it didn't work. There are three things I would change about this stroller. For the price, I think a tray should be included, as well as a parent console at the handle, and the handle should be adjustable. I understand the parent console and tray can be purchased separately, but for a higher-end stroller, I think these things should be standard. My family is very grateful to Stellar Review Panel for sending us this awesome stroller to try in exchange for my honest review.

I received the bugaboo butterfly 2 ultra compact travel stroller from stellar panel just in time for my family’s international trip to Europe and WOW am I obsessed! This stroller is everything I needed for both travel and every day life. A few things that prove just how amazing it is: - I’m not very strong and I have a Velcro toddler so the ease of opening and closing the stroller with one hand is incredible. It really is as easy as the videos show. - It is so light!! I can carry this in one hand so easily while carrying my son in the other. The fact that it expands to be the size that it does is shocking!! It’s amazing - The wheels are better than I could have imagined for a travel stroller. I was worried about the uneven and cobblestone streets in Europe but the stroller held up so well. My son was comfortable and I was thoroughly impressed. - Folding to fit in the overhead of the plane is a game changer. I have many friends who have had strollers ruined from checking them for flights so I love that we can walk on and off the plane with this, knowing it will be in great condition when we get to our destination. - It surprisingly has SO much storage capacity. The basket holds so much and the netting keeps it secure. - I can tell my son is so comfortable and the adjustable foot rest is perfect for him. Overall, I recommend this stroller to everyone. If you’re big travelers like us this is a NEED. But even if you don’t plan on travel soon, I still think this stroller is so beneficial as it has become my go to-every day stroller due to the compact size and convenience it brings. From travel, to our daily walks, and errands - the buggaboo butterfly 2 has blown this momma away!

I absolutely love the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 Ultra Compact Stroller! As a first-time mom, I’m constantly amazed at how much thought went into this design. It’s so convenient for shopping trips, especially in smaller boutiques or stores with tight aisles — it maneuvers like a dream, even when space is limited. Honestly, I was surprised by how smooth it moves for being such a compact stroller. It glides effortlessly and feels really sturdy, which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m out with my son. And as someone who likes to keep things clean, I love how easily the fabric wipes down — no stress over spills or crumbs. This stroller overall makes walks, football games, and putting the baby to sleep really convenient. The one-second fold takes some time to get used to. It does help make travel and storage quicker. My little one seemed to love this stroller and all of its unique features including it's massive incline. It's been quite difficult for me to find a stroller that almost lies flat these days and used to be more common about 20 years ago but this stroller delivered in this aspect; it lies flatter then our 4 other strollers (mix of luxury and more basic stroller manufacturers). Whether sitting upright or reclining for a rest, this stroller delivers exactly what both mom and toddler desire. The sunshade unzippers on both the bottom and top so you don't only have a window for peeking at your little one. It is very easy to push and navigate; even through gravel. The larger wheels and suspension help make strolls smoother and more stable. The storage below the stroller is also larger then other strollers on the market. It also simplified our time out by keeping essentials within easy reach. 10/10 stroller; I absolutely love this stroller and have finally found all the options I've been looking for in a stroller for the past 2years! Definitely a luxury stroller and brand. After receiving our Bugaboo Butterfly 2 Compact Stroller from the Stellar Panel for testing, we have definitely had positive results. The compact fold and size to the stroller has been the best aspect to the bugaboo stroller. It folds with one hand very easily and opens up with one hand with a small push of your foot. The stroller size when folded has reduced hassle when traveling with all 4 of my sons in our three-row car! It fits nicely behind the third row, which is hard to come by with other strollers! The look of the stroller is very nice and appealing to the eye in a taupe/beige shade. In terms of the fabric, while it is easily wiped, it does show spills fairly quickly because of the light shade of beige. Also because parts of the seatbelt straps are not able to be removed, it would be difficult to clean but I believe with a good cleaning agent it should be fine! Also, I do appreciate that the stroller comes with a separate seat that can be removed, although it says it is wipe to clean only. It seems to be very comfortable for my son overall and he appears happy to be sitting in it. One feature I think it can improve on is the recline. It does recline fairly low, but it could recline to a full lay down. We always like that if we are out and our little one naps. Also, it does not come with a cup holder for parents or any kind of storage besides the bottom on the stroller. Although, the bottom is easily accessible and open enough to place a diaper bag, snack bags, and more! But I do appreciate the pocket behind the seat for phones or wallet! Also, I think the foot rest that goes up and down is super user friendly and helps add to comfort for our little guy! The canopy is very nice as well and has the extra extension which is amazing at keeping out the sun, which my baby does not like. In terms of ease for parents, pushing and steering is very easy. The stroller is light weight so it handles well! In gravel, it is hard to push a bit but honestly not hard enough to worry. Overall, I’d definitely give the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 Compact Stroller, a 9/10! It honestly is a space saver and has it all!

First off, it is able to fold up in a second with one hand. So perfect for our family because we have three small little ones. And our hands often are busy carrying a child, toys, and other goodies. So it is great that we only need one hand to make this stroller compact. If you have multiple children, this stroller is going to make your life easier. It folds quickly, and then you are able to pick it up due to the stroller being light weight. Parents are able to keep themselves healthy by having this stroller collapse easily, they will be saving their backs. The stroller can easily fit in the back of a car when traveling or other designated storage area. This stroller hardly takes up any space. It amazes me how compact it is, but also how comfortable it is for your child. It has great suspension and shock that your little buddy is going to be comfortable on nearly any terrain. It’s remarkable how durable it is. The comfort level is also due to the different seat positions. My toddler was able to recline on a hot and long day at the zoo. He was covered by the shade and relaxed as we walked. On our shorter neighborhood walks, all of my kids like to be sitting up right be able to take in their surroundings. The stroller gives your kids the options to explore or have a peaceful rest time. I think the different seat positions makes this compact stroller incredibly unique. A perk for parents is the storage space of this stroller. May I remind you that this is a compact stroller?! I was able to put our average size diaper bag in the storage compartment under the seat. It’s also great storage for toys we take to the park, blankets for chilly days, or a small cooler. The stroller also has a great height for the handlebars. Making it easy to push and stroll. The stroller is made up of high quality products. It is durable enough that it even holds my tall three year old comfortably, yet is secure enough for my one year old twins. This stroller makes travel, errands, and leisurely walks so easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. I can’t recommend this stroller enough. It is perfect for so many different situations. This stroller is incredibly versatile. Do your family a favor, and get this stroller!

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller. The one-handed, easy fold on the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 is a game-changer for my family. Our previous all-purpose stroller took both hands to lift out of the trunk, then had to unlatch to open up. With the Bugaboo Butterfly 2, I can hold my ten month old on one hip and open it with my other hand. While we have not yet taken this stroller on a trip, I am excited to have it as an option as we've skipped a stroller on a couple of trips to save car space. Kiddo loves riding in this stroller, particularly since the straps are easy in & out! On another stroller, we have to put his arms through loops before clicking the strap into place, so the harness on the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 is much easier! He much prefers to be sitting up looking around, but I like that reclining is an option if we need to sneak in a nap! We live in a suburban area and have used the stroller on uneven nature paths, tight sidewalks, and in a shopping mall with ease! Given how lightweight it is, I was not expecting it to be nearly this smooth on varying terrains. We mostly use the basket at the bottom for items like library books or my son's daycare bag. It is not the largest, but holds a lot given the stroller's portability. I have not yet needed to use the back pocket. Our only complaint about this stroller is the lack of height adjustment - it is perfect for me, but my husband wishes it could go up a little higher. I am fine with the lack of adjustment since I'm the main user. I am so impressed at how well it fits in the trunk of our sedan and would highly recommend it for anyone with a smaller vehicle! We typically have to use our second car, an SUV when going somewhere requiring a stroller, so I am thrilled to have another option. We also have an even smaller umbrella-style stroller, but kiddo has never seemed that comfortable in it, especially being under one year old.

The ultra compact design makes it so easy to leave in the car to run errands without compromising storage space. The one-second one hand fold and unfold makes it so easy to use and put away while holding baby. I haven’t tried it yet but I can’t wait to use during travel and be able to place in the overhead bin on the airplane. We received the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and WOW, blown away! From the second I took it out of the box, I could tell it was extremely high quality and feels very luxurious. It was very simple to put together out of the box and the one-second fold is very easy to use. We've had a cheaper travel stroller that was really hard to fold up and felt really unsafe, however this one is amazing. I feel like this stroller sits up straighter than a lot of other travel strollers so my daughter seems very comfortable. We love the adjustable foot rest as well. I can definitely tell that the suspension makes a big difference in walking with this. We took it out on a gravel road and while still a little bumpy, it was actually totally doable and easy to push! The storage basket fits my backpack perfectly and I love the added pocket to slide my phone in up top. Definitely going to look into adding the cup holder attachment in the future. Overall, love this stroller - it is beautiful, compact and the perfect addition for our travels!

Unboxing this stroller was quite simple , it shipped in the original box and all I had to do was remove it from the box and attach the seat cover. I love how compact it folds down to; I have another travel stroller from a different brand but it is larger and heavier than this one. Folding and unfolding was a breeze and very easy to do using just one hand. My husband usually struggles with the strollers but he had no problems using this one. I also received the optional bumper bar in the mail as well and it really takes the stroller to another level. I have a 10 month old and he loves to hold on to and prop his feet up on the bumper bar. I like the 5-point straps as well, they are not too bulky and very secure. My son likes to be able to sit up straight when we’re walking now, the other strollers had him slightly reclined and he hated it. He hasn’t slept in it yet but I like how far it reclines for his comfort. The expandable canopy is also great because it covers more of my son’s body and protects him from the sun. When pushing the stroller it glides very well and is much smoother than my other stroller. I like the size of the canopy underneath, I have room for all my essentials. I am very happy with this stroller and look forward to using it and hopefully adding other assesories.
