Q: Should we use on baby less than 2 years old?

submitted by Jess - 7 years ago
  • A: Always check with your doc, but in our personal case this was the ONLY ointment we used from 2 months on. I think this one had the highest amount of zinc in it to help heal my baby girls toooshy.

    submitted byclaudia m - 7 years ago
  • A: Great question, Jess! While our Baby Bee Diaper Rash Ointmentour is pediatrician-tested formula safely keeps baby's bottom smooth and healthy, we recommend reaching out to your physician before applying. • A: diaper ointments containing zinc oxide (which, this one does) should not be used with cloth diapers or need to have a disposable liner as a barrier between the ointment and the cloth.

After 24 hours of using this diaper cream, my baby broke out in blisters. After comparing the ingredients, it contains most of the same ingredients as other diaper creams but also contains added seed/fruit/flower oils and that’s why he broke out so bad. Why so many added ingredients??

Within 24 hours my baby broke out in blisters from using this cream. After comparing ingredients, it contains so many seed/fruit/flower oils as well as the ingredients that some other diaper creams have. Why the added ingredients?? I’m pretty sure that’s why he blistered so bad from it so quickly.

I like the thickness of this cream. I fell like it helps prevent against diaper rash. Also, it helps when I see a hint of a diaper rash. It is expensive especially when you have twins. I wish they would make another way to store the cream. I cut the tube at the end to scra l out the remaining cream. I cannot afford to Waste any when one considers they volume that I use.

I love that this contains such a high percentage of zinc oxide. It's one of the only natural diaper creams we've tried that was effective in treating my son's bad diaper rash. (Some of the natural diaper creams are zinc-oxide free/ oil based which I did not effective at treating him.) My only complaint is that I wish Burt's Bees would offer this in a non-plastic, easily recyclable option like a metal tin or glass jar. Plastic tubes are not recyclable in most areas so I'm taking away a star for that.

Better than Desitin! Little goes a long way, however, lots gets wasted in the container it comes in. Wish the container was more environmentally friendly (less plastic or more pliable plastic).

As far as the product itself is concerned, it’s very effective in treating diaper rash. The problem is the container it comes in. Extremely rigid and makes it really difficult to squeeze out the last amount of product as the container reaches almost empty. Very frustrating and messy.

LOVE this rash cream , it’s thick and I swear you see a difference by the next diaper change. Daycare worker here and obviously each parent uses different kinds but this has been the best and most of our parents have switched to this brand.

This is by far our favorite barrier cream in our house. We have two toddlers, and both have used this cream since birth when they have irritation or diaper rash. We trust the ingredients more than most other brands, and it seems to work quickly and effectively to clear their skin up. The smell is an added bonus. The only downside is that it is sometimes hard to squeeze the cream out when nearly empty due to the design of the container. We still recommend and will continue buying as long as our kids are in diapers.

My 2 week old had a pretty bad diaper rash. Doctor recommended using aquaphor mixed with cornstarch to make a thick paste. When we ran out of that we had this in her closet unused. This made all the difference and to me worked much better than the aquaphor. Diaper rash cleared up within about 24 hours of using this
