Q: Can you think about changing the can to make it easier to open? It's difficult as is with only 1indent and then when you hold your baby it's nearly impossible to open. Love the product not the can!!!

A: Great question! Each unopened can of ByHeart is good for 24 months, but for exact dates, you can see the "Use By" date on the bottom of your can. Once opened, our formula can be used within one month (be sure to tightly cover the can after each use!).

A: Thanks for considering ByHeart! Our infant formula is made with a patented protein blend that includes whole milk, so it does contain dairy. While we have not studied tolerance of our formula specifically in infants with dairy sensitivity, results of our clinical trial showed our formula was easy to digest with less spit-up and softer poops in our nationwide clinical trial. That being said, infants have a wide range of sensitivities, so we suggest you speak to your pediatrician to see if ByHeart might work for you and baby!

We tried a couple other formulas while transitioning from exclusively breastfeeding after 8 months. This was the only formula that didn’t cause discomfort and impressive spit ups. He handles it so well. He doesn’t spit up as much with this formula AND he eats it faster, almost similar to when he eats takes breast milk. I think packaging/how the can looks would be a silly reason to buy something as important as formula, BUT it is an added perk. The packaging and scheme is SOOO cute! I love that I don’t have to dig though formula to get the scoop, as there’s a spot in the lid for it! My ONLY complaint, my baby doesn’t seem to be gaining weight like he should or like I want him to, now, I cannot say this is the case for everyone, as every baby is different AND I have what were once micro-preemie twins. ByHeart appears to be a very particular brand that watches out for safety and what’s best for babies. I would buy this again, especially when my baby is more grown and the weight isn’t as detrimental. I would also suggest this to friends and family.
