Q: What percentage on niacinamide does it have?
A: According to whatsinmyjar.com it contains “A good concentration of Niacinamide (3.60% - 5.50%)” which is a good amount. However with this company’s lack of transparency I would just look into Elf Thirst Burst Drops, who do disclose on the bottle that their product contains 5% Niacinamide. That’s what I decided on after Byoma’s decision to not disclose the percentage of Niacinamide in their product.

If you know that you are sensitive to a particular ingredient at a specific percentage or are unsure how this will interact with your skin, we would always recommend carrying out a patch test 24 hours prior to the first application.

Q: can I use this with tretinoin?
A: I used mine when I was on tret! If your using it at night, I reccomend applying it to damp skin before you apply tretinoin.

Q: What is the concentration of niacinamide? Is it comparable to 10% serums?
A: According to whatsinmyjar.com this product contains “A good concentration of Niacinamide (3.60% - 5.50%)” From the research I’ve done 5% is more than adequate to see results and products with higher than 5% niacinamide don’t necessarily work any better but may cause more irritation.
submitted byJoliecatin - 3 months agoA: We’re happy to share the role of our ingredients to understand what you’re putting on your skin, however, if we were to share the percentage too, that would be giving away our secrets!

Q: The ingredient lactic acid, which is rated a 4 by EWG, can be harmful in higher concentrations. Cosmetic use is restricted in Canada. What is the concentration of lactic acid?
A: Look at the ingredients list. Lactic acid is near the bottom, which means it could have as low as 0.1%, one tiny drop. There's definitely not enough in this product to harm or help.
submitted byLisa P - 3 years agoA: The ultra-gentle level of lactic acid we use in our serums is totally safe for sensitive skin, as its primary purpose is a pH adjuster to ensure optimum performance.
