BYRD Hairdo Products Texturizing Surfspray - 6oz

Please bring the Byrd shampoo and conditioner! I love the surfspray when I use it with the others to keep my summer-time vibe going year-round. What I appreciate about the surfspray most is that it doesn't leave any gross residue in my hair in order to get it styled!

Purchased as a gift that is yet to be presented, but this smells amazing and the price is way less than in the sakon!

I wish I liked this more because I love the packaging and it has the best scent of any salt spray I’ve used. But it just doesn’t do much, with or without other stylers. It’s not terrible but also not the best performance. It’s also a bit expensive. I would say I have coarse hair that is sort of thin and it is wavy/curly. But I suppose this is at least good to add scent to the hair.

I love this spray! I spray on while my hair is damp and scrunch my hair, and I get really nice waves. Normally, my hair has some natural texture, but this really helps enhance it. Also a great deal and a nice smell if you like coconut.

Took a chance on this product and I am so so happy I did! I spray this after I apply leave-in conditioner, scrunch and air dry. I bring my curling wand to work, so after my hair is dry, I create curls here and there to create a more tousled and texture look. Afterwards I run my hair through the pieces and WOW - beach hair all day every day. Absolutely wonderful product that is underrated. It is not just for men, ladies. It's a brand for men, yes, but this spray is unisex. Go get it!

This product smells great and adds volume to my hair. It is a great base for styling! It does add shine though so if you are not going for shine, I would recommend just using the Byrd Matte pomade instead. But it does what it says it does and I love the way it makes my hair smell.

Ignored all the reviews about it not working for thick hair and got it anyways and what do you know it doesn’t work too well for thick hair lol but it does smell great and I’m sure it works well with other hair types.

it is on the expensive side but it smells amazing and you can style your hair so much better.

This surf spray is a perfect middle of the road option for guys like me who don’t want a bunch of gunk in their hair but could use a little something for styling. Smells great and love the all natural ingredients.

This is definitely not a product that I ever thought would exist. After using it, I think all it really does is make my hair smell good. I talked to my hair cutting person the other day and mentioned that I had it and she said that my hair is too short for it to really do anything. She said "Imagine a surfer dude. Your hair needs to be that long." My hair is less than 2 inches long. That being said, if you are looking for something to make your hair smell like coconut, this is the product for you. I received this spray in exchange for a review of it. I was kind of excited to see that, for me, it was a local company item. Seeing the price makes me think it is pretty pricey.

This spray is what I’ve been needing for my fine, thin long hair. My hair tends to go flat on top so this spray really helped give it lift when I sprayed it on top as well as when I was doing the beachy waves look. (Normally I might spritz only the bottoms where I’m rolling up the hair, but doing the tops too gave it lift even though my hair is long and easily weighed down.) Nice smell that lingers subtly. I like that my husband and I can both use this. (His hair is coarse and curly- the polar opposite of mine.) I even started using it on my boys who have unruly hair, and I liked that the smell is natural and subtle, but definitely “there”, so they felt nice and clean smelling afterwards. I usually just spray it all over my hair after showering, but one of my favorite things about it is that I can refresh my hair on a day it hasn’t been washed but is still mostly clean to get the look I want. I just spray it on, roll it up loosely, and when it dries my hair looks actually decent. It’s my new favorite hair product. The only con for me is that you can definitely smell the coconut water in it, which is ok and quite nice except I wear a perfume that doesn’t match. Fortunately it is subtle. My husband likes using it as well but uses it separately from the Byrd pomade. Great for a refresher in a gym bag or on vacation, or in my case, daily use. This product smelled great and I loved the packaging and design. However, I have very thick and course hair, and this product doesn't work at all for me. I can see how it would be great for someone with easy to manage hair. This review was written in exchange for the product.

I liked the strong coconut scent, but it smells like sunscreen (which I like) but reminded me of summer. It held my hair pretty well all day, which is important to me. It is a refreshing product.
