Q: Are the finial screws m6 size of something different?

A: Dear Amanda. We are not exactly sure what you are refering too. We only provide screws to mount the brackets for the rod set. The finials are attached to the rod when you purchase the product. The finial are a screw-in design and therefore can be removed, but this screw is fixed to finial itself.

I got a bunch of these, so they could match all around the house, but didn’t want to spend a ton. I got a mix of black and copper when I ordered all black. My husband didn’t notice until he had already installed all of the hardware. It’s not that noticeable, so we are just sticking with it, but check and make sure you get the right color! So far they work fine though.

Drywall anchors do not go in and damage drywall when attempting to. After making the 1/4 inch pilot hole in the directions, it does not tap in or screw in. The anchors are too large and the threads are too dull. If you buy this, you will need to buy your own anchors, or attempt it without any anchors.

The curtain rods arrived looking brand new, but to my disappointment, they were completely rusted. This was unexpected and quite frustrating, as rust on new products suggests poor quality or storage issues. I cannot recommend these rods based on this experience.

The rod itself is extremely cheap. It's essentially hollow tin and scratches super easily, not to mention when you adjust the rod length it doesn't lock so if you pull it too far by accident the pieces will detach in the middle and fall. Then I tried using the hardware. I drilled the holes and when putting the anchor rods in they make enormous holes in the wall and were unable to take the screws since they just kept going deeper.

faulty wall anchors... i had a horrible time trying to get the drywall anchors in the wall. they simply fell into the wall. never had this happen before with drywall anchors. use different drywall anchors if you go this route! left a lot of unsightly holes in the wall to the fault of the hardware. :( very expensive to justify the purchase as well.

It cost me a lot of time trying to use the provided wall anchors to install the rods. I finally realized the anchors were constructed with an obstruction mid way the length of the anchor, so there was no way a screw would go all the way into the anchor and be flush with the wall. I ended up using my own wall anchors. The 2 pieces of rod do not fit together snugly, so the rod sags in the middle. One of the pieces is much smaller than the other. I thought I would solve the sagging problem by purchasing the 48 - 84" rod, but it is not in stock in stores. Do not waste your time and money on this rod!

Technically a “cafe rod” but works great for lightweight, sheer panels too and much lighter than standard rods. Also looks nicer than plastic rod and works well. If you cannot put screws in wall, Command Strips makes curtain rod hooks that work well with this!
