Beautiful candles just wish they didn’t arrive broken.

It was shattered when I received it. Apparently this is common with this candle.

The worst. After first couple of uses, the wick gets covered up completely... still had more than half the candle left but now it's useless.

I have tried to purchase these candles multiple times. They are not available in stores near me, and Target will not offer "ship to store", so everytime they arrive at my residence they are broken.

Stylish candle in ceramic container. Burns well. Not too strong citronella scent.

Gorgeous in person! Mother in law loved it and the smell is great.

Melted in the outside heat. Had to throw away. Very disappointed

As someone who loves being outside in the summer, bug control is a must. In general I love citronella candles because I feel like they help to keep the bugs at bay (although there are always some brave bug-souls who hang around). I found that this candle had a strong citronella scent, and very few bugs came to bother me. I also love the pattern of the jar- it matches my patio decor and will make a cute planter when it’s finished. I also liked that this candle came in 2 different sizes. I took away a star because I don’t know if this candle is worth the full price- I’ve purchased several different citronella candles at a lower cost and feel like they do well at handling annoying pests. I was able to purchase this candle on sale so if you have/ had your eye on this, I’d definitely wait for a sale. Overall, I’m satisfied with this product!

Love this candle! It’s citronella but not too overpowering while also keeping the bugs at bay.

Very pretty container, and the candle has lasted a long time. With that said, we still get chased inside by mosquitoes, so it's not doing its job - that's why I took one star off. But I would buy again because it's nice looking to have on the deck as decor. Goes nicely with our blue house. When the candle is used up, we'll repurpose the container outside, even though it says not to reuse it.

this candle doesnt last. a little bit of wind and the flame goes out. when the candle is lit is does not keep away bugs and you cannot smell it.

Didn’t get to try the candle - it was poorly packed and broke during shipment. Received a replacement and it, too, was broken. I had clearly noted and provided photos of how poorly packed the item had been.

The ceramic is pretty! Not your traditional bucket outside candle. However the $ is a bit over the top. $15 hello

The item was not secured and now I have pile of broken glass. I have no options to return since I dont feel like bringing glass to the store an hour away, or mailing a pile of glass injuring myself or someone else in the process. This is the second item I have received recently with terrible packaging. I made a huge order and I'm afraid to see how everything comes in. Taking a target break for awhile for sure. The item itself I can't speak for in its current state.

So cute, keeps bugs away about as well as any citronella candles, but it's cute.

If you live in Texas or another hot place, I don't recommend this. After sitting a few hours in the sun, the candle cracked and hot wax got all over the table and porch. What a nightmare.

Worked like a charm and kept the bugs away

I wasted my money on these candles. I ordered two candles to burn on my covered patio. The candles are pretty but they do not repel bugs. I threw the first candle away after burning for maybe 8 hours because the wicks burned down. My second candle has lost its scent after being outside for a week.

Pretty jar! Great for outdoors and camping

I ordered two of these candles. Packaged in the same box and arrived completely shattered. Tried to get a refund or for target to send me new ones. Required me to send the items back in order to do so! Shattered pieces and all. Certainly a safety/handling concern for delivery personnel.
