If I could give this less than 1 star, I certainly would! Left a horrible, greasy white cast that wouldn't even budge when I tried to wash it off. I do not recommend it whatsoever.

I love all Cerave products! I love that they are weightless, affordable and effective! I love that it doesn’t leave my face feeling sticky or overly shiny. Great for the summer months I use it everyday and double it as a moisturizer. Would recommend!

Takes over an hour to blend into skin and leaves an awful white cast. I even noticed it on my hairline hours after application. There are much better and cheaper mineral sunscreen options, skip this one.

This lotion is terrible. It states on the container that it is "lightweight and non-greasy." It felt like applying paint to my skin. It took forever to absorb and my skin didn't feel hydrated. Don't waste your money.

It works great! I prefer mineral sun screens. It’s true it can leave a whiteish cast on your skin but I found that if you moisturize well first and then apply it doesn’t seem to create that white haze that some have had trouble with. But I’m also a fairly light skinned guy so if you are applying it on top of make up or have a darker skin tone you’ll probably want to use one of the Cerave’s tinted mineral sun screens. I used to use the tinted one but didn’t like the way it felt. This one is pretty lightweight and not greasy and doesn’t clog my pores.

Okay I’m writing this to save the darker skinned girls, I am really pale, like light fair in most shades. I have been using this sunscreen recently because I’ve tried to find a new one. This one works well, provides great protection but gives ME A WHITE CAST SO BAD. It’s super thick and takes time to actually soak in, even when combining with moisturizer. It leaves me looking like a corpse for like an hour, so when I say this isn’t the one, I’ll be switching after I get through the bottle.

I had been using the CeraVe tinted sunscreen but lately it seems greasy, like the formula changed. I also liked that this is a 50 unlike the tinted 30. So I gave this a try, but I was immediately bummed when it would hardly even rub in and left a very noticeable white cast on my face. I even have fair skin and it made my face ghostly white compared to the rest of my body.

I recently got a sample of this from my Dermatologist. She highly recommended it to me for my fair, sensitive skin. It's unscented, gentle on skin and rubs in/absorbs nicely without leaving white residue or a sticky, icky feeling. It works very well! I burn so easily. I used this once my face for a day on the lake and had zero burn! Very, very effective sunscreen!

I have tried a lot of different face sunscreens and this one was probably the lowest on my list. It was not greasy or super pigmented, which is great. However, I had to constantly reapply and noticed really dry skin afterward. I spoke with my esthetician and she said this brand’s ingredient list is not good for skin prone to breakouts. While I didn’t get burned, I wasn’t happy with the overall use.

Works in a pinch and on a budget. This is my go-to mineral sunscreen when I’m out of my preferred. It’s affordable which is part of the reason I got it, and also use their facial cleaners and have enjoyed them. No weird smells, lasts majority of the day, and doesn’t leak from the container. The reason for 3 stars is due to the heaviness of the cream and the texture it gives my skin after. It seems to sit on top of my skin versus moisturizing and absorbing. Also made me break out which is shocking considering I’ve used their other products with no issues. I’d still use again!
