Please bring back the old formula. The addition of oatmeal has ruined this product in my opinion. Oatmeal is the opposite of moisturizing. The new formula doesn't feel nearly as effectiveas the original. This new "paste" will get some good reviews, but consmers who haven't tried the original, don't know what they're missing. I know companies like to gain attention by making product versions that they call "new and improved". Well, welcome to CeraVe's "new Coke." Don't fix that which isn't broken.

I don’t understand the comments about not being able to rub this in. I use this on my very itchy, fidgety, eczema-prone 18-month-old toddler after bath time and it is so smooth and easy to rub on. There is a lotion feel left on the skin but that’s what I’m looking for! I don’t want a regular lotion, those don’t last. The next 2-3 days my toddler’s skin is smooth with no dryness. Before this I was doing lotion, then a petroleum balm. This gives better results with less annoyance from the little squirmy one.

This new version isn't nearly as good as the old version. The old version was like a miracle cream, I used it on my face and was basically my beauty secret. The new one with the oatmeal is a totally different texture, the startch from the oatmeal is evident and doesn't moisturize nearly as well. Layering it makes a film because of the starch

Had a severe allergic reaction to this cream. The Nurse Practitioner I saw said I was obviously allergic to one or more of the ingredients. I had a small itchy spot on my eyebrows and applied the cream before going to bed. The next morning my entire face was swollen and extremely itchy. I am currently on a steroid pack to try to calm my skin. I highly recommend you test this cream on a small area to check for any reaction before applying it anywhere.

I have sensitive skin and ezcema, so I had to give this product a try. I have used CeraVe before and have always been a fan. I purchased the smaller oz, 3.4 and definitely was affordable to give a trial. A little of this lotion goes a long way. The lotion is lightweight and super moisturizing. I haven’t noticed a difference in my skin yet but it did feel protected and did not seem to itch. It seems like my skin becomes immune to lotions after using them so long, so I am hoping this gives me some relief.

I loved the original formula. It was the only product that soothed my dry, itchy skin. When I ran out and went to buy another bottle, I was extremely disappointed to find the formula so-called new and improved. It felt so bad on my skin that I didn't even purchase it. This is not creamy oil anymore. It's creamy paste at best. Stop fixing what isn't broken and bring back the products that actually work.

I have extremely severe eczema on my face and neck that gets so bad it will ooze and burn and i am in tears, my face gets super red and peels and will get to the point where my eyes are so swollen i can’t open them. im allergic to everything even aveeno for babies with eczema and other cerave products. this is the only stuff that calms my flares down and relieves the burning sensation of it and helps calm the redness. i was very sceptical at first because nothing seems to help, not even steroid creams. this is the one thing that helps especially when i use it with aquaphor. ever since i’ve started using this constantly throughout the day every day i haven’t experienced a flare up that causes me extreme pain and discomfort and i am extremely happy with this product i would recommend this to someone with severe eczema any day.

As soon as the temperature drops in winter my skin starts breaking out with eczema. I bought this to try to avoid a prescription. It cleared up my skin in less than two weeks when I paired it with a mild cleaning soap. It's a huge relief. It really controls my winter skin rash.

I honestly prefer this formula over the old one! The old one was like Elmer’s glue and I would still itch like crazy after applying it and would have buildup in my nails from scratching it away, even ended up with scars on my legs! I get really dry in the winter months and my cousin gave me the new bottle and I don’t itch like I used to, my body feels moisturized and clean! I can’t go without it, I guess it works differently for everyone though I use other products for my face and use this on my body :)

I just bought this tonight and used it for my facial skin that is acting up with eczema-type rash. It's not an oil at all. In fact, I find it drying. I had to put another moisturizer on top. Very disappointed but after reading other reviews, I guess the old formula was better. I'll use it until it's gone but won't purchase again.

Very disappointed with the new product . I used the eczema soothing creamy oil and loved it because it helped and there was no other product like it . Super hydrating .
