Q: Does this leave a white cast on dark skin when applying 1/4 tsp to face as recommended for sun protection against the Skin Cancer foundation?

A: Even though this is a chemical sunscreen, there is silica in it. Skincare with silica in it can sometimes leave a white cast on dark skin.

This is almost like a light sunscreen. It doesn’t smell and feel exactly like a sunscreen, but there are similarities. The color and texture are pretty similar to the ones of (light) sunscreen. I live in AZ, so this isn’t bad. I need spf daily. But the scent and how the lotion goes on makes me not want to buy this again. I have combination skin and this lotion almost leaves my face looking greasy. And I didn’t apply a lot. The bottle is incredible small as well. But I’ve tried much worse similar lotions in the past. The price is low, I’m sure this works perfectly for a lot of people. It’s just not for me.

I have combination skin but I would say I’m more on the dry side in the morning and I get oily throughout the day. I was struggling to find a sunscreen that was nourishing enough for the morning but didn’t get oily throughout the day and this one is perfect!! It’s a little thick when you first put it on but it sinks into the skin so fast and becomes invisible. Wears great under makeup as well. Once you’re low on product the pump stops working I’ve started cutting open the plastic bottle and scraping the remaining product into a jar. Overall it’s amazing!! Will be purchasing for forever.

I LOVE this moisturizer. I have acne prone skin and it doesn’t make me break out. It doesn’t peel under makeup and makes my skin feel smooth. I love the spf since I don’t have to apply a sunscreen as well. I’ve been using this moisturizer for around 2 years and will continue to use it. I totally recommend

This face lotion offers essential protection from the sun without that typical, greasy sunscreen feel on the face. Three pumps is suitable enough to cover one’s face and neck. It doesn’t migrate into my eyes and sting. No fragrance to cause allergies and absolutely no white caste due to mineral sunscreen ingredients. This is a chemical sunscreen, which I prefer. Otherwise, the mineral sunscreen can settle in one’s pores and cause blemishes and make one’s face look older than you actually are. This is a perfect moisturizer with sunscreen, for daily living!

i’ve been using this product for a while. if i ever have it on and get it too close to the eye area, or i sweat or swim or rub my eyes, my day is ruined. i love how it feels on my skin, i feel moisturized and pretty and it doesn’t break me out. but man it freaking BURNS my eyes and because of that i’m going to stop using it. maybe it just a me problem so try at your discretion but if you have sensitive eyes i would skip this

I got this item based on reviews stating it was light and not oily. LOL I feel bamboozled. It’s so thick I have to premoisten my face before using to make it spreadable, and it still leaves my face feeling goopy-greasy. But hey at least I’m protected from the sun for like 2 whole hours 🫠

I bought this product - one for myself and one for each of my siblings. I had an allergic reaction and my siblings each had breakouts. I trust this brand as I have used the cleansers and other moisturizers, but this time I did not have a good experience. After use, my face and neck were irritated and itchy.

This is one of the least greasy sunscreens i’ve ever tried, the reviews had me nervous but it really is not greasy at all. Just make sure to not apply another moisturizer before hand as it’s already moisturizing on its own. Love it and will continue purchasing !!
