submitted bycolgate user - 6 months agoA: To replace the batteries, firmly hold the bottom of the handle while rotating the top counter-clockwise. Insert 2 new AAA batteries as indicated inside the brush handle and firmly rotate clockwise back into position to close.

I bought this toothbrush on sale and also bought refills. After three months, when it was time to replace the heads, I realized that they did not match and the QR code on the brush that says it's for refills just takes you to buy a new brush. I'm trying to use less plastic, not more! There is a mail order electric toothbrush replacement that I buy for my son, so I guess I will be going with that too.
