This is my second time purchasing cheer & this time all 4 cheers I purchased, especially the first two smelled terrible! As if it was recalled! They all have a weird, strong chemical smell! It’s so nasty & terrible, worst smell for our clothes n skin! Don’t buy this product! Pure_ is much better!! Doesn’t smell weird or chemically like this one!

I bring this back into my laundry rotation now and again. It works well and has consistently smelled good over the years, even with a couple of slight scent changes along the way. I will say that I prefer the cleaning power of Tide, but, at the time of this writing, Procter and Gamble has either discontinued -- or radically/horribly changed the scent of -- every variant of Tide that I liked. I'm glad Procter and Gamble has kept Cheer the same or almost the same.

I love Cheer!! It smells nice and has always gotten my family’s clothes clean!! I wish they would get the powder back in!!! I don’t know why they stopped making the powder?!! I have used Cheer most of my life!! I liked the Cheer with Downy in it also but they quit making it. I’m supprised they haven’t made Cheer Pods?!!

Cheer Dark Liquid Detergent is a great option if you want to keep your dark clothes from fading. After using it for a while, I noticed my black and dark clothes stay looking new longer compared to other detergents I’ve tried. It cleans well and gets rid of stains without being too harsh on the fabric. The scent is light and not overpowering, which is nice.

I bought this product because it was significantly less expensive than the brands I typically use and based on all the glowing reviews. However, I can’t stand this detergent! I hate the smell and I feel like it doesn’t get our laundry as clean as my usual brands. I’m very disappointed. There have been multiple occasions where I have had to rewash clothes after using this because this didn’t work well enough - what a waste of water and time. If you have a kid in baseball, softball, football, etc. do not waste your time/$ with Cheer. This may be acceptable for lightly soiled delicates or sheets, but it is not good for stains or odors. Plus, it kind of makes the clothes smell like BO. I will not purchase again.

We have reactive skin in my household, and I am very picky regarding the care of our clothing, and bodies. Cheer has hit the center of our target for more than 20 years. We love cheer liquid laundry detergent. It cleans thoroughly, smells good, colors remain vivid, fabrics aren’t broken down. The ONLY other detergent we loved was Oxiclean liquid laundry detergent. Unfortunately it is no longer available anywhere. Sad times. Tide is monopolizing the laundry game. We are absolutely not impressed with their products.
