What happened? GMO’s Gluten free

Once one of my favorites now has gone down hill and this latest box is depressing. It’s sad when a generic brand tastes better and more like the old version of rice chex. If GM and all other manufacturers want to bow down to gluten crown they should make a version for them while leaving the good stuff alone for the rest of us.

Plastic bag wide open with I went to have a bowl for the very first time since buying. I assume it's a manufacture error but I want some and now haven't an option to have. I'd like reimbursement.

Disappointing experience for an 80s baby. I haven't bought cereal and milk in years but had a craving. Deep was my dismal dissatisfaction. What happened to the light fluffy almost white colored pillows of mild sweet rice flavor. What I found floating in my spoon were cranky gnarly squarish flattened cubes with chipped corners that almost appeared coated in some form of light plastic adding to the nonfoodlike texture. Truly got a little depressed. It made me think they are moving in the direction of selling humans dogfood or bot food perhaps. Why would they do this / change the recipe like this- if they care about the people who plan to consume this ? To make it worse my box was purchased at a cheap place and just have been stored near laundry detergent or fabric softeners. Unfortunately straight to the garbage it went.

I was looking for a cereal that was tasty yet not loaded with sugar. I found it! This Chex Strawberries and Cream flavor is now my favorite. Even my husband who is very picky, likes it. He said it reminds him of Strawberry Nesquik.

Peanut Butter Flavor is Lacking

Regarding the peanut butter flavor: if you're looking for a peanut butter flavored cereal, this isn't it. If you're looking for something gluten free that tastes like something vaguely different from plain Chex, it's fine.

Clearly have had a recipe change, will not be buying again. Just completely tasteless, not worth the calories. Sucks, used to be one of my favorite cereals. Not only that, you no longer get the same amount thanks to shrinkflation.

I've enjoyed Chex as a breakfast cereal/dessert with a little sugar for more than thirty years. Rice and corn are my favorites. But, since returning to cereals after a short, few year break, it's obvious there's been a recipe change. Now it's just dry and flavorless. The texture is noticeably different. I've also had some of the vanilla strawberry recently. The new texture just throws something off. The second and third bowls of the recent rice Chex have both been wasted after a few unappetizing bites and thrown away. I'm now afraid to try a new recipe of corn Chex. It's a strange time we live in, to be forced to get what used to be a less desirable store brand just to have something nearly as good as the brand names used to be. Please, make foods healthier when possible, but changing the texture and flavor to something much less palatable and worthy of the trash can is a step in the WRONG direction. Does Chex NEED gluten to be as enjoyable as it used to be? This is regrettable. I've been eating Chex since the Peanuts characters were used in the advertising.

Sad. I overlooked the “phosphate” in the ingredients. Here I was thinking I bought a healthy cereal alternative. But no. Be careful of phosphates additives. They are horrible on the kidneys. Unfortunately I opened the cereal or I would return it.
Does it have corn, corn derivatives, wheat, peanut?

Love Rice Chex cereal, but can't contact General Mills in writing to ask about ingredients due to food allergies. Allergic to corn, corn derivatives, wheat and peanut so need to know what type of sugar, salt, molasses, vitamin/minerals additives are used - all can contain corn derivatives. Does your Rice Chex have corn, corn derivatives, wheat and peanut? Not asking about other allergens or top allergens or 'made in a facility with...' - only asking about ingredients. Can you reply w/ the answer. Really hoping as there's NO cereals that don't contain corn.

I would give a 5 star but as usual after the box has shrunk, now the cereal itself is smaller and by a lot !! Now they want you to eat more by having pouring more smaller cereal in a bowl !! Shameful !!
