Read and follow instructions on enclosed leaflet. Before coloring, do the allergy test and strand test. With gloves on, open tube 1 and squeeze contents into bottle 2; shake. Apply to hair according to the instructions and timing in the enclosed leaflet. Rinse and shampoo. Apply the Intensive Moisturizing Mask(3). I bought this color a couple days ago to add a little darkness to my light brown and it turned my hair completely black. I’m completely disappointed and don’t know how to fix this. There had to be a mix up or false advertisement. My hair has never been black.

The use of a clarifying shampoo, followed by a deep conditioner, can sometimes soften a color that is too dark. We also suggest that you avoid the use of heat (ex, blow dryers, curling irons), which can further set the color in. I recently bought this this month and I bought all the time and it comes out fine. I have no problems with it. i’ve been using this for the last 14 years I wanna say and the looks changed in the box but I still use it even on my kids and it’s great. I recommend everybody to use it so I’m giving a five stars. This is the first time I came in contact with this website

Color was supposed to be a dark red and came out orange!! My roots were nowhere close to what’s on the box. I will not buy this again!

Not for grey coverage AT ALL
I’m Indian Asian so dark hair… I would not recommend if you are trying to cover greys as well as achieve colour… it gave me ZERO grey coverage and of course I cannot dye my hair for a few weeks so my greys are very prominent at this point… I won’t buy this again

Nowhere in the instructions or on the box does it say "100% percent gray hair coverage." And I should have trusted that instead of trusting this website. This box is listed under coverage but it absolutely does not do that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color was fantastic! It might be necessary to cut 5 minutes off the processing time. I have red hair and it began to get pretty dark. Otherwise I followed the directions. Followed up with a cold rinse and the provided conditioner. Color only lasted about 2 weeks before beginning to fade.
