It's a powerful vacuum that reaches under my furniture and the lights on the floor attachment nice and bright. If I'm traveling through the house and see debris I utilize the hand vacuum. So simple to assemble and mount on the wall and it's lightweight. Sure beats dragging out a bulky vacuum and the hassle with a power cord.

I have had great Bissell products in the past but this one is a huge disappointment. First problem is the battery run time which drains in probably 15 min on high speed, which is the only one that does a decent job on carpets. Does not do a great job on bare floors b/c it does not really pick up much other than dust or hair.... a piece of cat litter or a few grains of rice seem to be too much to handle b/c they just get pushed around. Still, its lightweight and easy for me to use on my stairs and furniture so I decided to keep, and now that its a month out of the 3 month return window I am totally regretting. I clean the filters and brush roller after every use so when the fully charged vac kept shutting off immediately it took me a minute to realize that it was the carpet attachment causing the problem because the brush roller wouldn't spin. I opened it up and inspected the brush roller, which was completely clean, but pulled it out and wiped clean anyway. When I put it back into the housing it would spin when pushed manually, but when I clicked the bottom of the housing closed the brush wouldn't spin. After several frustrating attempts to figure out the problem I contacted customer support and was told that the roller had "seized" and would need to be replaced. Since this seems to be a clear defect in the part I assumed it would be covered by the 2 yr warranty, but was told that brushes are recommended to be replaced after 4 months as routine maintenance and NOT covered under the warranty!! I am 67 years old and have a fair amount of experience with using vacuum cleaners over my lifetime, but this is the very 1st time I've EVER had a brush roller "seize" and need to be replaced, much less be something that needs to be done every few months!! From other reviews it seems this part is regularly out of stock and can take weeks to receive which is simply unacceptable in my opinion. Shame on Bissell for passing the cost of their poor engineering onto us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vacuum arrived promptly and the variety of tools is very nice. HOWEVER, the vacuum automatically shuts off immediately if put on high (turbo). I have checked for blockages, put in a new filter, but the high level doesn't work. I will be reaching out to see if I can get a return or replacement.

And a better design: easier canister removal and cleaning; more attachments with better functionality/design. Also nice to get an extra HEPA-type insert. I had bought a small Bissell for my car and was very pleased so I tried this one: no regrets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thing, probably because I was using a cheap corded vacuum before, but everything about this vacuum is amazing except the battery for the vacuum. It barely holds for more than 20 mins on the highway setting which is disappointing. The high setting is the best one to use on wood floors and secure carpet I use the lower setting for door mats and decorative carpet. Highly recommend but if you do buy this you'll probably want to purchase a second battery also.

Gets nice and close to edges without needing the crevice tools. Love this vacuums versatility and easy of use. Bonus it doesn't make my kids cry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this as a lightweight, cordless complement to use alongside my corded Dyson Animal Ball. I've had it for a few weeks now, and it does a great job for a cordless vacuum. While the suction on carpets is not great (this is where I use my heavyweight Dyson - I have a long-haired dog that sheds a lot), it's excellent on my hardwood floors, and the light is super helpful for spotting furballs that accumulate in corners and under furniture. It's also really good for fitting under sofas and other smaller spaces, and I love the handheld attachments for vacuuming my furniture - such a breeze to use. The battery life is not great (basically you need to remember to plug it in the charger after every single use), but that's to be expected for a cordless vacuum so I have not removed any stars. However, I do really appreciate that the battery is removable and replaceable, this is a huge plus for me. #sweepstakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this vacuum for the past week and my life is changed. Cat hair everywhere in my house is GONE!! Anywhere hair can get this vacuum will make sure it's gone!! So many attachments that make cleaning pet hair so easy!!

If you want a vacuum that takes two hours to fully charge and only lasts 15 minutes before going dead, this vacuum will be a perfect fit for you! Hope you can vacuum as fast as flash himself. Works great for pet hair, but can't suck up a piece of cat food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product! We have two German shepherd dogs who she'd constantly as well as two young kids who are constantly tracking in dirt and dropping snacks and it works perfectly!

We enjoy having this vacuum in the house, it's convenient to use and is powerful. Downside is we suggest you purchase a second battery, it's drains the battery when in high power mode. The front of the vacuum is too low to the ground, so larger items are "pushed" instead of vacuumed up. The other problem is parts! We need a new brush bar but they haven't been in stock for a while, new vacuum but we can't use it. Would we buy it again? We've always bought BISSELL, but we'd pass on this one.

I LOVE my Bissell Cleanview XR Pet 300W Stick Vacuum 3797V. I had a Dyson. It died prematurely. The BISSEL is SO SO SUPERIOR in so many ways. Much easier to put attachments on and off, much easier to clean out the dust bin, MUCH better battery design. It is a separate battery that you charge - just like your portable drill. SO SO much better than the Dyson integrated battery that once it dies, you are done - no spare - AND if really dead you have to buy a whole new stick vac. Instead, I recommend you buy the BISSELL - because you can have a spare battery and always have a charged one on hand. One battery does a great daily quick clean of my large home, but if I'm really into all the corners and nooks and want to use Turbo mode for my weekly cleaning, it is good to have that second battery on hand to just pop in and finish my mega cleaning. I love the attachment that lets me dust off the baseboards. We have dogs - so dust and fur definitely abound. AND the price is MUCH LESS than the Dyson. It's a WIN WIN. FYI Customer service is awesome as well when I called with a question. Packaging very secure and safe and instructions very clear. All in all a FANTASTIC product. I would give it 10 stars if I could :-) I have told all my girlfriends and passed on the link to them.
