Idk
honestly i've been struggling for years to find a shampoo and conditioner that genuinely works for me but it's always terrible or just doesn't do much of anyone. my hair is typically 2c-3a and it's extremely brittle and frizzy. i have a lot of breakage and i can't figure out why but that's besides the point. i have a sensitive scalp as well and majority of shampoos and conditioners cause itching for me. i cant say if this shampoo is really terrible i've only used it twice but i can say it's not moisturizing for me at all. i just now realized the second ingredient is sulfate which i try to avoid but i don't think this is the worst shampoo. i'll probably be returning this though

Pros and Cons
I’ve now used the whole bottle and there are a few pros and cons. My hair and scalp felt very clean, it didn’t weigh down my medium/thick hair. My hair tends to be on the dryer side and I didn’t notice any additional dryness but I don’t know if it was really adding any moisture. I did notice a HUGE improvement on the amount of hair loss I was seeing in the shower and my curls seem to have a bit more life to them. The smell is very light and just a clean smell that I really enjoyed. I think I have noticed my scalp being slightly more dry than usual. Nothing a good oil or mask can’t help with, but just something I noticed. I’m so torn on repurchasing because I’m wondering if there’s something that could do even more for my hair, but I don’t dislike this one either. Can’t complain about the price.

I have thin/fine, 2B-2C hair, oily scalp with dry ends, prone to frizz. I'm white and 32 years old. I was struggling to find a new shampoo and conditioner for about 2 years. I've tried so many products, anything between Pantene to Alterna Caviar. Two of my trusty leave-ins from Bumble & Bumble and Alterna, stopped working for me too. A few months ago this catches my eye and on a whim I gave it a try. I was so surprised and I am so happy I tried this! For the first time in years, I don't feel the need to use an additional product or heat style my hair. Ive even notice less hair fall out in the shower! It's cheap and I think it's worth a chance if you want to try it.

I am so happy! Love this shampoo!
I just bought my third bottle. I am rarely this dedicated to a brand as they usually stop working well after a bottle. Not this one. It seems to have the perfect balance and has even brought out some more of my natural curls. I also use the matching conditioner. Both make my hair much more manageable and I’ve been getting a lot of compliments since.

No Bueno
I’m going to have to agree with the negative reviews. I had high hopes for this drug store shampoo but even after one use, my hair felt SO dry. I paired it with the conditioner but it didn’t help. It’s in a pretty bottle and the scent is very light, almost non-existent. Unfortunately, overall disappointing.

Horrible!
Used this shampoo and matching conditioner once on my long straight hair 4 days ago. It was a matted mess from the moment I removed the towel from my head. Large amounts of my long hair have continued to shed since then and it feels like straw. I am so mad that I tried this terrible brand:(

Not what i was hoping for
I purchased this because of the ingredients and the high star reviews. I have thin, frizzy hair. This was not lightweight at all or non-greasy as advertised. It weighed my hair down and left some sort of a film on it that took a week and multiple cleanses to remove - and that was only after using it two times! I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately it’s a no from me.

My Favorite Shampoo
The first day I tried Climaplex, I immediately noticed a difference with my hair. It was noticeably softer and it felt very clean. It did not feel weighted down by unnecessary residue. Because my hair is thin, I am careful with what I choose for my hair. On a side note, I am happy to see their efforts to make this a vegan product that's paraben free and packaged by recyclable products. This is my favorite hair product. I highly recommend

Finally found the one
I've tried a myriad of shampoos from drugstore to high-end and they all eventually cause dryness, itching, and/or irritation to my ridiculously picky scalp and hair. Climaplex's packaging and ingredient list caught my eye, and I'm so happy it did. I've been using the hydrating shampoo and conditioner for about a month and my scalp and hair feel normal for the first time in awhile. Gone are the flaky and itchy patches on my scalp, and my hair has reverted to being soft and smoothed out. Added bonus is the gentle musky-floral scent that doesn't come off as cheap nor overwhelming. I really hope this stays on the shelves in the same quality and consistency.

Salon Quality shampoo
I found this Shampoo at Target and was drawn to the reasonable price. It has a subtle, but pleasant light scent. It's free of parabens and doesn't leave a gunky residue after rinsing. I liked that it left my hair feeling light and not sticky or heavy. It comes with a pump dispenser which made accessing the shampoo easier. My only critique is that the conditioner and shampoo bottle look very similar so I almost confused the two. Just be sure to read. I would recommend.
