Command Large and Small Decorative Hooks Brushed Nickel: Wall Hooks Adhesive, Towel Hook, Silver, Plastic, 4 lb Capacity

I purchased this product in 2022 and was quite happy with the product until the plastic backing suddenly failed (snapped in half exactly as pictured by a number of other reviews here while I was in the other room). It's a shame that 3M didn't opt to make the piece just a little stouter. Without that essential backing piece this nice hook is now useless to me.

I had the same issue as others. The plastic back broke on two hooks that were holding a towel weighing 1.2 lbs. Replacement plastic backs should be included with the product since this seems to be an ongoing issue.

Looks are deceiving. I ordered these online for pick up. The double hooks came separately packed, like they must have run out of actual sets. As I now see in other reviews and I had the same issue before I even got it up on wall the clear plastic piece that actually tapes to wall bent almost immediately just in my hands. When attaching the top piece it seems loose and fragile, makes me nervous to even put anything on it. Time will really tell how durable/reliable the double hooks are. The singles seem a bit better but not my much also shakey. I think of all the command hooks I’ve used the white plastic ones have so far been the best and are definitely more stable than these, def better quality, but I want something more decorative. Again not sure how these will hold up. 🤔 🧐

Worked great, until it didn't. The plastic backing piece just decided to fail and now I'll have to go buy a whole new set as it sounds like these pieces aren't sold separately - unfortunate. I'll probably hold off and not replace as it sounds like I'm not alone in this issue. Seems to me they could have designed this plastic piece without the crease that would fail.

Bummed about the quality of the hooks. Very cheap material and not durable, at all. The description claims that the hook holds up to four pounds, which is completely false. I attempted to hang up a small, dry towel and the hook kept falling off of the wall no matter how many times I tried to reinstall it. The hooks are also very costly and not at all worth it. Lastly, the shipping took a very long time, which I though was very unusual.

While Ilove this hook the plastic piece that adheres to the wall broke and there is no way to purchase another one without buying a whole new hook!!

Great concept and would have been just what I needed but the plastic mounting base part that the hook slides onto snapped in half while I was adhering the command strip?!? This is not the first time. It has also happened to 4 other hooks when I've attempted to remove strip from wall to relocate?!!!

Since my walls are made of plaster its hard to hang things unless you plan to commit to them permanently. I use Command products to hang everything. Noticed just how many when I took the photo of the Double Hook... the broom, the white arrow wall decoration, my face masks for work and extra keys are all hanging from Command Hooks in the photo!

I bought this in March to hang lightweight dishtowels on and it worked great for a couple of months. Then one day the hook moved upward and the plastic back piece broke off and the hook will no longer attach to the back piece. The hook is in good condition and I would just like to replace the back piece, but I don't see a way to do that. I'd rather not buy a whole new hook. It was pricy for something that only lasted a couple of months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this book to put on the back of my bathroom door so I could hang my clothes when I shower, and I have to say that it has FAR surpassed my expectations! I used the damp locations sticker thing, and while it says it will hold 5lbs, I KNOW it has held far more than that on multiple occasions without any issues. I looked at a lot of different hooks before buying this one, and its stylish design is what made me finally choose it over other types (although they were all Command brand) and I haven't had a single reason to regret the purchase since then.

We needed something to hand a towel on after a shower and found this double hook, what a life saver! The brushed nickel finish is beautiful and fits in with our other decor perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this double hook for holding outdoor grill tools on the closest interior wall to the grill, that way they are within easy reach. The hook holds well, and leaves no marks when removed. Great product!
