I now own 3 Byron mugs that are unusable, I kept buying them (until now) because they're truly one-handed and leakproof -- until each lid failed, within 1-2 years, Attempted to replace the gasket without success; it kept twisting and I could not get it seated properly, Hard to understand why Contigo does not offer replacement Snapseal lids, given the durability of the body of the mug, and the fact that this is a known issue.

Love the everything but the lid. To open you need to push lid tip end up to drink from the other end or to close you need to push down. The lid to over thought in the design needs to be simple.

I've bought and re-bought this thermos several times. It's my favorite because of the tight sealing lid. I don't have spills and it keeps my coffee warm! Fits in cup holders well and comes in nice colors.

The reviews were overwhelmingly positive, and the slender design provided excellent anticipation for handling and storage convenience. However, I will be returning this unused product because it is manufactured using formaldehyde, which is unacceptable to me.

I have the first generation of the Bryon and the second generation models. Did you know they have a lifetime warranty and did you read the directions for proper care? I prefer hand washing using dawn liquid soap and a tooth brush on the covers. For the main body, it is a bottle brush. I have not had any issues as others have mentioned. It is all in the proper care and using mild cleaning solutions. I like the newer model cover design, for cleaning purposes. I have been retired since 2008 and enjoy my morning coffee from my Kuerig Supreme maker. I have no issue over how long my coffee stays hot as have the Kuerig maker set at the highest temp setting. I am good with Contigo.
Get it on sale not full price. Not worth it.

Leaks after a month, the lid is difficult to clean, very difficult. I would leave the lid in hot water soaking with soap and it’s still dirty. This is disgusting. Look at the pictures. The rubber expands and you need to purchase a new one or replaceable rubber, it doesn’t keep the coffee HOT it might keep it warm. I have to reheat my coffee when I get to work and I work 10 minutes walk to my job.

It is probably the best travel mug I have owed overall. It keeps coffee hot for 3 hours average. The only problem I've had is the lid leaks because the washer or seal gets curled. This happens somewhere around year 2.

It was a good product before dishwasher. I tried to wash and completly stopped working. The lid broke and wasn't spill proof afterwards. I'm someone who doesn't have tie to handwash things and this mug was not good for this,

The SnapSeal pop up tab is basically impossible to pop up. You need both thumbs and the power of Thor to get it open.

RUST in seven months! This is my second one. The first one the cap seal kept falling out and the flip lid got to the point of too hard to open. the outside rubber portion for the hand started breaking down. After months, rust developed in the bottom of the second purchase.
