Neutral scent, good coverage, but the finish is not long lasting - needs to be reapplied after an hour, but I live in Florida. The packaging is small and fits easily in a small bag. Inconveniently, there is no powder puff in the kit. If you guessed the shade rang, it goes on very well.

I really liked this powder. I have oily skin and went to an outdoor wedding in high humidity and it actually held really well! Unfortunately I discovered by the photos at the wedding that it was a shade too dark for my skin tone and there is no shade lighter (had purchased 510-Classic Ivory) I had to switch to TruBlend Covergirl powder that came in a lighter shade (001 Translucent Fair). I came back here a year later hoping a lighter shade had been added to this one but disappointed to see it has not.

I have a very oily forehead so I’m always looking for a quality powder that won’t make me look like a ghost but just does a great job absorb and mattifying my skin. This is a good drug store option. I was able to find a shade close to my skin color and I reapplied a few times through light the day to absorb extra oil.

I've used this off and on for years and I'm so disappointed to realize that this contains talc (as well as parabens). Talc can potentially cause cancer because it can be contaminated with asbestos, a known carcinogen. This is especially dangerous to be in a powder we dust on our face, as the talc can be easily inhaled. I am so disappointed that I did not know about the dangers sooner and that this brand continues to use talc in 2025 when major brands like Johnson & Johnson have removed it from baby powder due to these cancer concerns.

I love this powder and it is not too cakey or thick. This cover just the right amount and at the price its amazing. I tried the translucent one first, but it looked white and possibly made me look like i had a problem when i put it over my nose lol, so i stopped using it and got the medium. love the quality!

I recently bought this powder, and it pleasantly surprised me. The texture is light and almost unnoticeable on the skin. It provides excellent mattifying effects without drying out the face. It applies evenly, doesn’t emphasize dryness, and doesn’t clog pores. The shade blends well with the skin tone and looks natural. It lasts quite a long time, keeping the makeup fresh for almost the whole day.The only downside is that the packaging could be a bit more convenient. But overall, I’m very happy with it! This powder has become one of my favorites.

As someone with VERY oily skin, I just don’t understand why anyone would want the “dewy” look that is all the rage. To me, it’s my normal skin which means that any makeup I apply will be sitting on my jawline about 30 minutes after applying. Basically, in my opinion dewy equates to oily. And it’s definitely not for me…which brings me to CoverGirl’s Clean Matte Pressed Powder. It’s fabulous for keeping my makeup in its place and keeping my oil at bay. Surprisingly it doesn’t leave a “dry” look or texture on my skin, it just leaves it looking fresh - like I just washed my face. I also like the scent which is reminiscent of refreshing and clean to me but not overpowering. I’m in my early 60s and have battled with oily skin since my teens, tried everything, and I always come back to my CoverGirl Matte Powder!!
