  • A: Thank you for your question. No, the Joy Everyday Smart Iron-on will not fit the Joy Xtra. You will want to buy either Joy Xtra smart material specifically, or get regular Cricut Iron-on that can be cut on a mat.

    JUST SAY NO!

    Purchased this vinyl to customize Christmas stockings for our students. At first, I was really excited to work with the vinyl. The excitement waned quickly when I realized the measurements on the package did not meet my project requirements despite me verifying the measurements before purchasing. Finally the vinyl required a great deal of ironing to adhere to the fabric. Once the project was complete, I admired my handiwork and figured my disappointment was over and done. Boy was I wrong. The vinyl began pulling away from the fabric making the stockings look like an amateur pieced the project together. I was mortified. I will never again purchase this vinyl and to be frank, I almost sold my Cricut Joy because for the waste in material and the overall look and quality of the vinyl. I do not want to be tied to using a product that does not work and I would prefer not to void my warranty.     I had so many issues using the circuit joy iron-on. One color wouldn't stay, another color was like bleeding onto the others. Absolute disaster. I removed and reapplied. It only continued to get worse.

    I love this.

    While I haven't yet used this item, I have worked with the White Iron on for t-shirts that I made for my sister's choir group in Trinidad and Tobago, while I was on holidays in January. I will be making more and I intend to use other colours and patterns as well. I just love the simplicity of putting it through the Joy and how easily it weeds and it is to apply.
