[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Basically, this mini ice cream maker serves its purpose very well with easiest and simplest operations. I would have given it a 5 star rating for the reason I just mentioned. However, the design of this machine isn't well-thought for basically two reasons, namely the insecure cover and the difficult disassembly. At the first 15-20 minutes of ice cream making process has no issue while the icecream-to-be still very soft. As the ice cream making is closer to a completion, the vibration and the jerky movement the paddle is provoking unlock the cover easily. With about 1/8 inch distance only from the unlock to lock withOUT a deeper/bigger notch. The entire cover tends to flying around which can be dangerous and may quickly damage the machine, for the cover is not secure in place but twisted with up and down at different angles. When the ice cream is done, with only ONE hand with two fingers both press down the white tabs while the other hand to pull is almost impossible. A third hand is needed to HOLD the plastic transparent cover in order to pull the red motor out of the cover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased for my wife for Mother's Day gift. I think it makes some of the best tasting ice cream I've had! The vanilla recipe included in the user manual is very good. I would consider it is necessary to freeze the ice cream for at least several hours after mixing it as it it's a bit inconsistent in texture immediately following the mixing process. From start to "ready" is realistically about 4-5 hours. You need to combine the ingredients, refrigerate them for 2 hours, the mix the ingredients in the ice cream maker for 25 min, then transfer to a freezable storage container, and then freeze for at least 2 hours. I would also recommend purchasing an additional frozen mixing bowl so that you can make a double batch on the same day, since this ice cream maker only makes about enough ice cream at one time for approximately 2-3 people depending on how much you like to eat. I would recommend this machine for anyone that likes to occasionally eat ice cream with their own ingredients and doesn't mind spending a few minutes to make it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I am obsessed with ice cream and this Cuisinart 1 pint Wonder ice cream maker is just what the doctor ordered!! I am now able to make ice cream fresh from home! This ice cream maker is especially awesome for its little shoot for adding in mix ins making it easy to complete the step where you add sauces or candies or nuts into the mix. It’s like your own personal *insert major ice cream brand here* machine! It easily makes soft serve ice cream in 25-30 minutes. I love that it does a smaller quantity at once, so I can really put love into the pint I’m making. It’s easy to clean and out to use again. Highly recommend to my ice cream loving friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I liked this product a lot. It wasn’t an large appliance that takes up significant counter space. This was something that was easy to assemble, easy to maintenance/clean and easy to store. And while it is a smaller appliance, it allowed me to make ice cream for my entire family! I love the convenience of making ice cream at home and the recipe on Cuisinart’s website are perfect for the mixer! The only downside was that we did have to prep and chill the icecream mix for at least two hours and freeze the Cuisinart Base for 24 hours. So you do have to prep a bit or have a premeditated plan to make icecream. I was hoping to be able to make it on the spot, but that’s okay! Side note: This also allowed my toddler to help me make icecream and visually see we ate it all (and can’t have anymore after). He loved watching it spin and see his creamy mix become solid icecream!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The high quality of the product along with ease of use makes it an amazing addition to our family kitchen. Right from turning on, adding ingredients, adding milk, cream to freezer bowl it is incredibly easy to use. We just start the maker after dinner and by the time we are done washing plates, the soft and fresh ice cream is ready to eat. My only complaint is the ice cream is so yummy that 1 pint feels smaller. This is must have for small family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always dreamed of making my own ice cream, and the Cuisinart 1 Pint Wonder Ice Cream Maker made that dream a delicious reality! This little gem is so easy to use, even my cat could probably make ice cream (okay, maybe not, but you get the idea). In about 20 minutes, I had creamy, homemade vanilla ice cream ready to devour. It’s like having your own personal dessert wizard in the kitchen. The best part? You don’t need a ton of fancy ingredients or hours of prep. Just pour your ingredients in, hit the switch, and boom—instant gratification! And the 1-pint size is perfect for small batches, so you can whip up different flavors without the guilt of having a gallon of leftovers sitting around. If you're craving something cool and tasty, this little machine is the way to go. The price is right, the process is a breeze, and the results are chef’s kiss. 10/10, would recommend for anyone who loves a good frozen treat and wants to feel like a pro in the kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the size of this ice cream maker. I liked having the option of making a pint of ice cream instead of a large amount. I tried the vanilla recipe and it turned out tasty. There was definitely no problem finishing off the pint so that we could come up with what we wanted to make next.
