We bought it for the ability to keep coffee hot for a long time, but it really doesn't do that. It keeps it luke-warm at best 8 - 10 hrs later.

i bought this coffee maker 3 years ago after going through three models to find one that poured without making a HUGE mess. near the end of its warranty it started turning itself on. I tried to go thru the warranty it had left but it ws so complicated I just bought another and now had a bad machine--pouring all over the place instead of in the cup AND turning itself back on to brew after brew was finished--and it is not quite 3 months old (the other started at 3 years). I do not know why they have such issues with consistency in the production quality. It is one of the best coffeemakers if you can find one that works correctly and consistently. And now, I tried to return it within the 90-day return, but the store would not give a credit--the purchase says 90-days from purchase or ship or delivery date, but Target's system does not support the written policy! :-(

No fuss and no muss. I can make jut a double of cups up to a full 10 cup pot, and the thermal pot keeps the coffee hot for a very long time which is great when I am working and want a second or third cup.

We are always breaking glass ones, so we looked specifically for the thermal one. And the coffee stays warm for a long time. I just wish the mouth of the carafe was a bit straighter, so the coffee doesn't get stuck around the lip when pouring the last drop.

The Cuisinart coffee maker carafe that I purchased in 2013 began shedding its coating, so I decided to replace the whole thing. I was extremely disappointed that black was the only color offered. The coffee maker seems to operate as intended, but it does not keep one cup hot "for hours," as promised, but this may have something to do with the volume of water. Since I've read that some of these units stop working prematurely, I'm keeping my original white unit on hand. And, finally, why is 10-cup the default size?

My first one was still working but I just wanted a new one! I gave my old one to a lady that lives in my building! She loves it too! I wouldn’t own any other brand!

Overall we like this coffee maker. The only downsides is we wish the coffee would come out a bit hotter. It's easy to cool down coffee that's too hot but tougher to make it hotter. Also, the shape of the pot makes getting that last few ounces out tough because you really have to turn it almost upside down. Other than these two minor issues we really like it.

This coffeemaker looks and works great. It uses a cone filter which I think works better than the circular filters. The clock gives off a nice and bright blue light. It has a timed feature that allows you to set it up at night and have fresh coffee in the morning at the time of your choosing. Highly recommend.

It was my favorite coffee pot for 7 months till all heck broke loose. The thing is possessed or something. The Power/program button blinks on/off.9 times out of 10 when you turn it on it shuts right back off When it does work it brews 2 cups of coffee then stops, sometimes it starts again. When you try it manually if you are lucky and it brews, it just keeps restarting and the beeping is maddening. I swear the thing is possessed!
