This is horrible machine. There is no way making soft serve ice cream at all. I did try several recipe, pre freeze long our even did try to put xanthan gum bit turn out the icr cream is runny and not even close to any ice cream shop at all. Very disappointed and waste my money on this product. U cant return if you open it

My daughter purchased this machine and it's so worth the money. What was one spent in expensive coffee and dessert shops is now being done here at home for way less money. The frappe setting is my favorite! Excellent flavor and consistency.

The directions made it easy and clear how to use it and bonus points that the machine isn't loud, which I actually assumed it would be. Glad to be proven wrong, as well as my favorites being the frozen cocktails and slushies! You can also make ice cream, sorbet, frappés. This is worth getting, especially if you love ice cream/making drinks etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple to use, easy to clean, with minimal prep and quick results, there’s nothing to not appreciate about this Cuisinart 6 in 1 machine. Impressed my friends too! The best part for me is there’s no parts that need to be prepped or pre-frozen…my traditional ice cream maker takes up valuable freezer space and I typically forget to toss it in the freezer in advance - a nonissue with this machine as it plugs in ready to go without requiring freezing. Most incredibly, I tried making soft serve and a daiquiri style frozen fruit slush both of which were ready in just 20 minutes. The flexibility is great you can make a simple recipes as pouring in juice or premix or you can get as complex as you want with layering flavors and spending more time on the recipes. (Just no inclusions/chunks). Set up and cleanup is a breeze, parts are easy to disassemble and wash. Only downside is the unit is too tall to fit under my upper cabinets and doesn’t suit storage.

They want to pour every liquid in the fridge into it to create slushies and frappés. There is definitely some trial and error with the settings, but nothing that can’t be fixed by running it again at a colder setting or letting it warm up/thin out and then running the machine again. I wish this came with a printed instruction book and recipe book instead of a QR code to scan. Nonetheless, we have been having a lot of fun creating chocolate frappés, orange juice slushies and chocolate soft serve for the kids and frośes and frozen aperol spritzes for the adults. I love that the programming is an easy touch screen and I love even more that the machine has a cleaning cycle making this simple and quick to use and clean up. A few pieces come out that can be hand washed or put in the dishwasher which is easy to do. This has been in daily rotation for after school snacks and I’m sure it will be a big hit at our next party.

The Slushy & Soft Serve maker is Sturdy , Elegant and fits just right in our kitchen. It isn't too heavy and we also use it in our dining space for parties & get togethers. The first setting we tried was a slushie using sparkling limeade and it turned out amazing ! Topped it with some sprinkles and my kids loved it. The machine isn't noisy at all and has a smart dispense feature that ensures no mess pours. It is quite fast and so much fun at play dates & potlucks. Kiddos have so much fun creating new flavors. I also use it for making coffee frappes to kickstart my day. I would recommend taking your time to understand the different settings and you'll be amazed with the possibilities. Comes with auto clean feature!

The machine is tall but slim, it feels sturdy and doesn’t take up much counter space . The LCD touchscreen is intuitive and makes switching modes effortless. Be sure to read the manual before first use, there are recipes for ice cream, sorbet, slushies, frappes, wine treats, and cocktails, which makes it easy to get creative. I also like the cord hook in the back and the rinse program for quick cleanup. The only downside is removing the dispenser assembly. You have to locate the release button underneath the dispenser, use both hands, press, and twist counterclockwise. It took me awhile to figure it out. Also the QR codes on packaging and the tag don't lead me to manual, I had to look it up on Cuisinart's website. Overall, I’m really happy with it. I made a salted caramel soft serve based on chocolate soft serve recipe and it was a total hit!

This machine is great for hosting. The chill technology allows for treats to stay cold while waiting to be served. We hosted a friend's get together and we made frappes, frozen cocktails and soft serve ice cream. The machine has low noise and dispensing the finished product is simple and easy. So many possibilities for this machine. Great for the summer months for refreshing treats and beverages. Definitely recommend

We've also made slushies with other types of juice and even wine for some adult fun! We haven't tried a lot of ice cream yet, but the batch we did try was a little runny. Maybe we were impatient and just needed to let it go longer, I don't know. Overall though we are happy with it. The only thing that is a little annoying is it's pretty tall. It doesn't fit on the counter under my upper cabinets, so keep that in mind when purchasing.

It has it's own built-in freezer, so you don't need to freeze a bowl before hand like other ice cream makers. You just pour in the mix and then it takes about 15-20 minutes to make most items. We made a variety of soft serve and slushies. The slushies worked best and were easier to make. The soft serve needed some experimenting and learning as the first batch came out a bit too loose. Later batches worked much better after some learning. Cleaning it was a breeze as you just fill with warm water and run the auto wash feature. You need to do it a few times but it is as easy as emptying and filling with water with each cleaning round. Zero mess. Then when it is clean from inside, you take a few pieces off and clean them from the outside where the auto clean couldn't reach. Having easy cleaning made it much more fun to experiment and make more ice cream. I recommend this for a versatile ice cream/slushie maker.

We have made vanilla soft serve (which is my favorite texture of ice cream, solid, but melty). We made a passionfruit juice slushy which was a hit! & then we decided to add half and half to the juice and that was super good also! All three recipes froze perfectly and quickly. We followed directions and strained our recipes before pouring into the machine. We did notice with the ice cream though, you need to eat it right as it finishes up, it doesn’t hold well in the machine. This wasn’t a problem for us! HA! This machine has an easy to use lever, my 9 year old was pulling it no problem. My favorite part is the cleaning cycle! It’s soooo easy and works great! I cannot wait to use this for one of parties! It’s truly a great addition to our home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. This is my newest favorite appliance for sure. Size; it's tall. It won't fit under the cabinets in my kitchen. And I'm fine with that. I feel like it needs to be this size to do everything it does. And the fill is on the top, so even if it fit, you would have to pull it out to use it. It works amazing. So easy and simple to use. We have done ice cream, slushies, mimosa slushies, adult slushies. It tackles all of them so easily. And super fast. Ice cream takes 15 or so minutes from start to finish. The cleaning cycle takes longer than the ice cream cycle does. I am still figuring out how to use this. My ONLY critique, not sure if it's me or the machine is that the soft serve is a little too soft on one cycle, and a little too hard when running it again for a bit. It was too solid and would not dispense. Not a deal breaker, just something I need to work on more. The kids absolutely loved the ice cream and the slushies we made. The adults loved it for the ease and effortlessness.

I haven't mastered soft serve, yet. I've tried two recipes, including the ones in the online recipe booklet (I so wish they'd included a paper version), and each came out more loose than anticipated. The end result was not a standing swirl, but more like a slumped pile of icecream. Tasted great! Just not the texture I hope for, and definitely not suitable for cones. Still working on altering the recipe to find proportions that work. The frappe (I tried the mint chocolate version with espresso) was delicious! At first, too frothy, foamy. I added a little heavy cream, and it was perfect. I absolutely can see this machine being used for small gatherings and being a hit. I'm excited to continue trial and erroring it as well.

It’s my dream come true to make soft-serve, slushies, or a frappuccino at home. The machine isn’t instant to make soft serve, but it’s extremely quiet. I can run it during nap time and nobody notices. The slushies and ice cream come out smooth and it doesn’t take much effort once you start it. Cleanup is simple and the size is surprisingly compact on the counter. My only real con is the wait time for ice cream, but overall it’s convenient and fun.
