After making one batch of ice cream, the bowl warms up and must be refrozen before it can be used again. Attempting to make a second batch without refreezing will result in suboptimal freezing and texture.

Preparation: 5 minutes or less; 15 – 20 minutes; plus 15 - 20 minutes chilling time. 4 cups cola or other soda, lemonade, cranberry juice, white grape juice, Kool-Aid®, chilled * 1. Turn the machine ON, pour soda into freezer bowl and let mix until thick and slushy, about 15 to 20 minutes. 2. Serve immediately, or if desired, transfer to an airtight container and store in the freezer. I have made 3 batches of ice cream in the past 2 weeks! Love this machine and now all my friends want one too. My only complaint is that the recipes included in the manual makes a larger quantity than the machine can handle. This means I have to make 2 batches which takes 2 days because the machine bowl has to be frozen for 24 hours prior to using. Otherwise, it is easy breezy to use.

Excellent ice cream maker! We blend our ingredients, pour it in the ice cream maker, and achieve perfect results every time. Give it 25 minutes and you have ice cream perfection. The kiddos especially love it and it’s easy enough for them to make it. Highly recommend!

We've made 4 batches so far, the machine works as described. The one issue is that the motor is incredibly loud for a home-use product. You'll want to use it on the other side of the house from where people are living. It is strange, because the designers could have easily selected a quiet motor for this application.

I have used it now several times. Each time I am extremely happy with the performance. Simple to keep the container in my freezer so its ready to go, chill my ingredients, and then load up the machine and go. Some reviewers complain it is noisy. It is not overly loud and clearly those reviewers have never used older machines that used a hand crank or top mounted mixer - those were anything but quiet. However, this machine does it without the mess of melting ice laden with salt and no manual labor. Perfect batches! Made a sorbet too (The recipes in the manual are excellent)

Had this for about three weeks. On my third batch, two ice cream and a sorbet. It’s awesome! I have to stop myself from making more before the present batch is gone. Favorite so far is the strawberry ice cream. Delicious.

I have owned many ice cream makers in my time. I have had 4 qt, 5qt and even a 6 qt. The 2 qt cuisinart is by far the Cadillac of them all. Even white mountain.

We love this ice cream maker! It is the first one we've purchased, and I had debated this and a ninja creami. We chose Cuisinart because its way better to keep a frozen bowl for when that moment hits and you want a bowl of ice cream and can make it in about 30 mins. With the creami you have eto freeze the contents and wait for it to be ready to churn. I've only made chocolate and a peach ice cream but so far they have both been amazing!
