Q: We’ve only had this for 3 weeks. The filter seemed to be working good, zero readings for the first 2 weeks and now 2-3 which seems normal, but now it has an awful taste. It had a great taste in the beginning and now it’s bad?

  • A: Depending on the frequency of use, you could have a filter last anywhere from a month to three months. As soon as it tastes different, it should be replaced. The zero water meter should indicate it has changed being no longer at zero. This is my first time with the newer model but I have the older model meter. It was free standing. You would test the water and see three digits giving it a finer indication of purity. The new one appears to have only one digit. I’m assuming as it changes it won’t be as fine meaning the water will change its taste before the meter changes. As I said, this is the first time with the newer model. So I will see in time.

Great tasting water; slow flow spigot

I wanted to love this so much, but I definitely do not. There are two reasons why it doesn’t work well for my family. To fill it up with water, you have to do so in shifts. It takes a long time for the water in the top part to filter thru, which I have no problem with, but it takes multiple cycles before the main part of water is full. We also don’t like that the water flow from the spigot is very slow. We’ll try the pitcher style next to alleviate the latter concern because we do love the taste of the water.

PITCHER WARNING!!!!!!

If you don’t pay attention the water from the inside that has been in the filter, and/or that never makes it into the filter will pour into the glass or cup, too!!!!!!!!!!!! This occurs where the lid meets the reservoir.

Convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water dispenser is such a great product. Is durable and easy to assemble. Water flows incredible and having the TDS meter reader inside the dispenser is a relief since I am able to see how clean my water is compared to tap water.

Not a good experience

I think the filter is old. It reads in the 3 and 2. It takes forever to fill. The filter has a pin hole to drain the water out of.

Good Dispenser, Faulty TDS Meter

Bought this dispenser as an addition to an older version I've had for years. I'm very disappointed in the new TDS meter as it seems inaccurate most of the time. It can jump from 0 to 13 overnight, or it reads 1 then 3 then 1 again. I'm still using the dispenser, but I've gone back to using my older TDS meter with it.

Wonderful Water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water dispenser came right on time as I had just moved into my apartment. I love how much water it holds. My only complaint is that it takes a while to refill because the filter process is very slow. We're refilling this pitcher often because the filtered water is really good! It tastes better than most bottled water! It has definitely increased my water intake.

Was great for a few months! TDS meter stopped work

I recently purchased a water dispenser. It seemed great for about a month or so, until the TDS meter stopped working. Disappointing to say the least.

Great filter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love a good, thorough water filter and even better, a pitcher that holds plenty of water for my coffee maker, espresso machine and ice maker. I only use purified water for these machines so this pitcher comes in handy. I also enjoy water that's been filtered and room temperature and this also delivers well. I would recommend this pitcher to anyone.
