Great rug, but had to air out for several days outside when received.
I got the runner and the larger area rug. I've had for several years now and they are holding up well. However- they really SMELLED BAD when I received them. I had to leave them outside to air out for several days. I think it's probably the glue holding the whole thing together since it's not actually woven and doesn't have a backing. You will definitely need a rug mat under, it is very thin, not cushion-y at all. But all that being said, again, have lasted for years and still look great.

I returned this rug because it is very thin, even with a pad, and would not flatten completely. On the other hand, the colors and sheen are beautiful, I wanted to like it but no go.
