Quite satisfied with this unit so far. I've only been using the fan on high speed while waiting for my window insert and it's enough to cool our bedroom down. Can't wait to try the ac cooling capacity + heating during the winter months!

Work fantastic right out of box, window kit included is easy to assemble. Not sure if it is a downside or not I brought it paid new price the manufacture date on appliance is early 2022 and paid alot $$$ would have expected to pay less for old stock new appliance

Product worked well to cool my place in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately when setting up for a second warm season the cool setting is not working. Hopefully Danny will have a solution to fix this.

Purchased this in September 2022. Worked great for the summer of 2023 here in Seattle Washington. This year plugged it in and it won't cool. Still under warranty :)

i have not even tried to hook up this unit because i noticed the manual states the continuous drain should be connected and drain directly into a sink or a floor drain. I would like to ask everyone "who has a sink or drain in their bedrooms or living rooms?" previous models of Danby had removable reservoirs so it was easy to remove any excess water with also the option for a continuous drain. why would Danby remove this option? Horrible decision. Now i need to bend over and try to drain the water from the unit with a nipple only 1" off the floor? This is going back into the box and getting a refund. Instead of getting a better, Danby is ruining their products.
