It is recommended to use 1-2 tbsp per pizzelle. 1 tbsp will result in thinner pizzelles whereas 2 tbsp will produce thicker ones. The recipe book is not especially detailed so look up some tips online. Use room temperature eggs. Mix all liquid ingredients together and then add the dry ones. The batter will be very, very thick. Drop it towards the center back near the lid hinge for more symmetrical circles.
