A: Hello! There are different versions of the Dash Multimaker Treat Maker System. This is one of our ceramic units which have a lighter color to the coating and do not contain any Perfluorooctanoic acid. This kind of coating is free of PFA, PFOA, and PTFE because these chemicals are not used to manufacture of this coating. There is an older version that has a darker PTFE nonstick coating called TruGlide®, which may have caused some confusion. We hope this helps! - Dash Team
