De'Longhi Magnifica Start Coffee and Espresso Machine: 15 Bars, Electric Frother, Grinder, Dishwasher-Safe Parts, Black

Have had for three months. Expected some problems but none. Reading the manual helps. Consistently delivers. Would buy again. Service line quick to answer.

Really love this machine. Great cup of coffee compared to my old Keurig.

I love it. We used to own a Magnifica and it lasted a very long time. The only thing I do not like as much is the small milk container. That's why only 4 stars.

Very nice machine, easy to operate and clean. This is the second Delonghi Magnífica Coffemaker I have wich last for more than 15 years.

Amazing coffee machine with good options. I recommend.

We decided that our Christmas gift to each other would be an upgraded coffee maker. After much research and a couple visits to a specialty coffee supply store, we chose the Magnifica Start. We looked at more expensive machines, but we could not justify the cost. And we definitely knew that full manual was not for us. This seemed like a good compromise. We have been trying hard to get used to it (reading tips, making adjustments, trying to improve the experience, trying different beans). Is it the machine? Is it us? Are we just drip coffee people? I'm happy with the milk drinks, but mainly my husband and I drink coffee and we just can't get a delicious cup of coffee from this machine. Perhaps we're doing something wrong. Anyway, we now have an expensive machine that we're trying to live with. It is a nice looking machine, relatively compact, fairly intuitive. The milk frother is quite good. We definitely wish the output was hotter!! We did adjust the heat per the instructions, but it's definitely not hot. Anyway, we will keep trying to improve the output.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is amazing. Makes a great coffee/espresso. Still getting the hang of how to work it since I am used to just a normal coffee pot. But I love it. You are able to use whole beans or already ground beans which is nice. I've made a mean white chocolate mocha with it. No more going to the coffee stand. Saves me money that's for sure.

I really splurged on this machine. Let me tell you every cent was worth it. Me and my roommate had a blast messing around with the settings. The coffee itself is really good. I've seen reviews saying it dosent get hot but I haven't had this problem. The milk frother is a game changer. Overall a great purchase. 100% recommend!!

I had the Delonghi Deica for two years and I loved it but was ready for an automatic coffee maker so was delighted when Santa dropped this off for Christmas! I live that I can make whichever drink I want and whenever I want! It is so easy to use!

This machine has many features and makes great coffee. My draw to it was its ability to grind fresh beans. You can adjust the amount of coffee you can brew and the strength with each cup. Unfortunately the max volume is limited to about 8 ounces. Hence my 4 star rating.

I love the convenience. Getting my favorite coffee shop beverage at the push of a button is wonderful and the frothed milk is perfection. Cleanup is so easy. And the coffee is amazing. I have never had such a wonderful cup of coffee. I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was used to the traditional coffee machine and planned to stick with it until I used this Magnifica Start Espresso Machine. There are different options for our coffee preferences, and Latte Macchiato mode is my most favorite. I love the fresh smell from coffee instantly grounded by the machine, and the milky foam. Everything blends so well and I have fresh coffee everyday, nice and super tasty! I’d recommend this coffee machine to whom that loves convenience but appreciate a great cup of coffee.

I use my Magnifica for lattes only as my wife and I do not drink espresso but thoroughly enjoy our 2 lattes each every morning. My one issue with this machine is that I have to clean the milk frother and all its parts every single cup. The first cup is awesome but if I don't clean all the parts, the second cup is sub par as the frother spits and cough and chokes on the milk making for a much less frothy milk as opposed to delivering a smooth froth like it just did for the first cup. Vey annoying and time consuming!

Have had the product for a few weeks and it's a joy to use. Simple and effective, and it makes great coffee.

I bought this machine a month ago to replace my second Nespresso machine. This has been the best upgrade ever! Not only am I saving money by not purchasing pods, but I also get to try local Puerto Rican coffee. Even with the coffee bean grinder, this machine is quieter than the nespresso vertió I had. Clean up is easier and coffee is so much better. I should have done the change years ago. I gave it four stars because I’ve only had it for a month and can’t say anything about durability but so will be sure to come back and update my review!
