Please please please do not buy this crib. For your own sanity. After assembling, all FOUR screws stripped making it next to impossible to convert or disassemble this crib. The screws are so soft and so junky. On top of that, the wood completely split trying to remove the stripped screws. Target also required us to return the very large crib via mail?? Overall, a huge headache of a purchase/return.

We bought the crib in the gray color and it smells strongly of spray paint & chemicals even after airing it out for several days. I don’t feel safe using this crib given the strong smell and will be returning it. It’s unfortunate because I really like the look of the crib and it feels sturdy.

However, we do know that some consumers can be sensitive to the new odor smell of freshly finished wood. Therefore, we recommend that you return your furniture to the retailer to obtain a refund.

The design is nice and the crib is sturdy, but it smells horrible. There is a strong chemical or fresh paint smell that’s overwhelming. I don’t feel safe putting my infant in this crib.

Nice design, great color and good build. Unfortunately the strong paint smell did not subside after 4 weeks of airing out in a well ventilated warm room. Learned the hard way that GreenGuard is applicable to a specific list of chemicals, and while that is a good step in the right direction, does not mean there is no smell or harmful VOCs that would be released during the curing process - which should have been done at the factory and not in the customer’s home. Cannot recommend this product especially being one for an infant/toddler undergoing their most critical developments.
