When using this product

When using this product: limit sun exposure, including light from tanning beds, and use sunscreen when going outdoors,do not wax to remove hair in areas where the product has been applied,during the early weeks of use, your acne may appear to worsen before it improves (this is normal); continue using as directed, unless you get irritation that becomes severe,irritation (redness, itching, dryness, burning) is more likely to occur: in the first few weeks of use; if using more than one topical acne medication at a time; but irritation usually lessens with continued use of this product,it may take up to 3 months once daily use to see results,avoid product contact with eyes, lips, and mouth. If contact occurs, immediately flush the area with water,wash hands after use.

Stop use and ask a doctor if: you become pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant, while using the product,you have symptoms of an allergic reaction (such as itching, rash, hives, swelling of the lips, eyelids, and shortness of breath),irritation becomes severe,you see no improvement after 3 months of once daily use.

Adult and Children 12 Years of Age and Older

Use once daily. Clean the skin gently and pat dry before applying the product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer. For example, if your acne is on the face, apply the product to the entire face. Do not use more than one time a day. Applying more than directed will not provide faster or better results, but may worsen skin irritation.

    Product is good - packaging is not.

    Differin works well for my skin. However, their packaging is wasteful and deceptive, which are two qualities I specifically avoid in companies I give my money to. There are other products out there (retinoids, AHAs, and BHAs) that do the same thing without such irresponsible packaging.

    Perfect for monthly breakouts

    This produced help clear my breakouts over time. I get monthly breakouts and I could never find a way to clear them. This helped me by just applying a very small amount to each pimple and there would be change even overnight. Instead of waiting for them to go away for weeks, it only take about 4-5 days with my regular skin care routine and face wash. It does start to make my face dry, but that’s only if I don’t use moisturizer which is very rare. Overall this product is great for people with small breakouts

    A lightweight gel that helps clear acne with regular use

    Differin gel helped improve my skin texture and reduce breakouts overtime. The gel is lightweight, absorbs quickly and doesn’t have a strong scent. Whit consistent use my skin looked clearer.

    Chemical burn. Cleared acne but burned sensitive a

    I think the adapaline chemically burned my skin in sensitive areas. Around my eye.only one eye but it is all red and swollen.

    Amazing results with continued use

    Absolutely love this product. It’s in my skin regimen regularly. I have been using it for years now and have noticed a huge difference in my overall skin texture as well as reduced fine lines and less acne. I do have to layer it with a moisture however at first due to my skin not being use to it. You won’t regret adding it to your skin care routine

    Absolutely the best!

    I’ve had acne since I was 12 year old. I’m 53 and finally found a product that works. I have tried EVERYTHING!!!!! Bought this product on a Tuesday evening and had zero pimples on Thursday. I’ve never loved any product more than I love this!!!

    Wish I had this when I was younger

    I kept seeing this everywhere and caved. I’m in my 30s but still get breakouts at least monthly. I’ve used peroxide that ends up not doing much other than bleaching my pillowcase. This is gentle on skin and doesn’t bleach, and has significant improvement even just overnight. It’s a small tube but a tiny dot covers a large space. This tube is going to last me forever.

    A life saver

    I have been using this for the past 7 months and it has been life changing. Its gotten rid of a ton of my acne and as long as your consistent and don't give up on it your skin will noticeably be better the photos speak for themselves.

    This product is definitely a bang for your buck its the best thing I have ever tried I had horrible scarring and bad breakouts but now the scars are faded and my breakouts are not as often! Differin just about saved my skin!

    Life change for acne skin!

    The Differin Gel works really well. I've had acne few years ago. I tried many acne products but they didn't work. One time, my friends recommended me to try this product and the acne stopped. My acne is almost completely gone and my skin is kind of smooth. I am still using this on the days that some acne pop up.

    Love this product!!

    This was recommended to me by a dermatologist when I was struggling with severe acne and it has helped clear my face a lot. I do still get some chin breakouts while using this but nothing close to how it was before. It doesn’t leave you skin feeling dry or clogged. I also think this helped with preventing acne scarring. A little goes a long way so one bottle lasts awhile, it’s a very good amount for the price. Definitely recommend to anyone else struggling with stubborn acne.

    Best thing I’ve tried for my acne

    I’ve suffered with moderate to severe acne transitioning to my adulthood, I tried everything all the cleaners treatments and even some oral medication(not Accutane but I was about to) I saw good reviews and amazing results so I tried it. The purge and dryness was a bit of a challenge but absolutely worth it. Almost all acne is gone just the redness left over but it’s a HIGHLY recommended treatment. 10/10

    Great spot treatment

    I cannot count how many tubes I have bought of these! As someone with acne prone skin that gets pimple very often, this tube is great for spot treatment. After 3-4 days it’s usually almost gone! Love this stuff.

    Do NOT USE OTHER ACTIVES with this product

    I started my journey on #Differin adapalene gel almost 3 weeks ago. Two nights a week using the sandwich method after one use caused major redness and peeling. Nothing I tried worked. I’ve ended up with major barrier damage and had to stop. My face is super red. Raw, to the point regular moisturizer burns when I put it on. The first week I had no clue that I wasn’t supposed to use any other actives and I was washing my face in CeraVe gentle exfoliating face wash w/ aha & bha & salicylic acid. I think that helped bring the damage about. There is no scent at all. And packaging is simple and effective. Hopefully once my face clears up and the barrier has been restored I will try again.

    THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT WORKED FOR MY HORMONAL

    This is the only product that really worked for my hormonal/ cystic acne. It got to the point where absolutely nothing was working and i was getting new pimples back to back, they were irritated, swollen, and they hurt so bad I couldn’t even wash my face. I was desperate and I asked chat gpt and this was the one it recommended based on reviews talking about it working for this type of acne too. I applied it consistently everyday for like 3 weeks, and this is how my skin looks like right now! I used to cry when looking at my skin and now it’s healing beautifully, I’m still using it and I’ll keep using it. Another thing, to avoid any irritation I’ve been applying moisturizer under It and it’s been working really well. Thank you for such a good product.

    Best anti-aging product

    This is my favorite anti-aging product. It’s not irritating . It feels smooth on the skin, it’s odorless and easy to apply, I love how my skin looks the day after I wear it.
