Well, that was a complete waste a money. Impossible to take the clear film off, the adhesive detaches from the mirrored squares. Total yuck all around and money wasted.

Absolutely terrible craft.

Do not buy, terrible design. The adhesive detaches easily from the tiles so you’re left with useless plastic squares. Normally love mondo llama projects but will never buy again without reading reviews first.

This is awful for kids, too detailed and poor quality. Very frustrating craft don’t waste your money.

I was missing a figurine. The disco ball was not included

It is so easy to do and is SO fun! 😃 And pretty. Some things are challenging, like inserting the eye-pin into the figurine, but I like the challenge. It is tricky at first to get the protective film off and to remove the tiles without losing the reflective backing, but if you are patient and careful, you can do it. I used packing tape to peel off the film. If you enjoy gem art, you will enjoy this.

A total waste of money.

Mondo Llama usually kills it with arts and crafts kits. But this is a giagantic fail. It should just be taken off the shelves. This is a nightmare project. Two thirty something parents with advanced degrees in engineering could not make this happen....and it's rated for 6+. It is messy, sticky, ill fitting, poorly constructed...the list goes on. Again, I am ordinarily a huge fan of this line. But this missed the mark entirely. Pick LITERALLY any other kit and you'll have a great time!

If I could give it a zero I would. What a nightmare project. They say you can peel the facing off with tape. In our case that was not true literally used a razor finally. What a mess. Also very time consuming even with the razor.

I loooove ML craft kids and basically buy them all but this one was a miss. Hard to do, made a wild mess of little pieces all over, looked bad.

Not the best craft kit. My daughter found it confusing and it did not hold her attention.

The worst craft kit we’ve ever attempted. The fact that this product made it to the shelves of a store is mind blowing. Each tiny mirrored square has a protective film that is very difficult to remove. When you do finally remove it, it become a static electric nightmare and sticks to the table, the floor, and to you. Now imagine a few hundred of these floating around. Not recommended!

Cute craft at such a good price! What I liked about this craft is that it was a simpler concept/very easy to do, even for. 6 year old. But cute enough for my 9 year old to want to work on. I like that it took a while to complete. It wasn’t a “done in 5 minute craft” which is nice if you’re looking to fill time with a craft for your child. It comes with more than 1 which is good for siblings or friends

The tiles protective covering was impossible to remove, came off in bitty pieces all over the place, they ornaments came out cute but hated the annoying protective cover

I expect better from target. This is a tedious kit that requires a ridiculous amount of time just to remove the plastic covering on the mirror tiles!

As other have said, not worth it. Terrible design and the little gems rip off the sticky side. Badly designed, overly confusing for a child, and just doesn’t work. I am requesting a refund on this one.

Poor quality and too difficult even with adult supervision

Cute idea, poor execution. Each tiny square has a film that needs to be peeled off versus having 1 large sheet of film over all of the stickers. My 6 year old would not sit through peeling all of these film pieces off each color sheet. Additionally, the adhesive seemed defective as the backing would peel off instead of revealing the adhesive. Project went right in the trash.

This was such a fun idea but even as my 9 year old started it, he said "this is really tedious". Like I didn't even want to make it. Each small square had two layers of things that needed to peel off and half the time the mirror bit would come off too, leaving clear squares.

This was such a cute idea, but the color would peel off with the adhesive backing, leaving clear cubes. Every individual square also has a top sticker that you have to remove one-by-one…just not a fun activity for 6+. Maybe for an older range of age with more patience 😅
