Perhaps one day, in a pinch, I will grab this and bake the cookies, that might be good enough for other people, but not for Numero Uno. The cashews are a little gaggy though. You can bake this dough and make traditional cookies or you can take a spoon and eat it. We decided to create cookie and do ice cream with ours. We put a layer of vanilla ice cream down some cookie crumbles and then added bits of the dough and put it into the freezer to set. it was an interesting experience and you did get the feel of cookie dough ice cream and the best part is you can use any kind of ice cream to get a more personalised flavour of cookie dough ice cream. I’ve never actually baked it because it just doesn’t seem worth the trouble of heating up the oven for such a small amount of dough, especially when it tastes so good straight from the cup. This was not good. It tastes like maple syrup. It is sickly sweet and I love sweets. The texture is also gooey vs doughy. I expected much better. I will say the smores flavor was incrementally better than the chocolate chip. With so few ingredients, I probably could have made this at home in 2 seconds and it would have tasted better.

The consistency is not like cookie dough at all, very oily/greasy. We tried baking as well, but the taste is VERY heavy with cashew. We’ve had other vegan and gluten-free brands that are much more similar to non-vegan cookies. These are not it. We won’t purchase these again unless they reformulate.

Taste wise is pretty good, I do wish it was a hair sweeter with maybe some brown sugar. Texture wise is good, I anticipated grainy and glad it wasn’t! The battery is not too sweet, but it is quite rich and the chocolate is perfect. I am confused by the positive reviews because this is the greasiest and most stale tasting special diet friendly cookie dough I’ve tried. It’s rather foul tasting raw, so I tried baking it to see if the flavor improved, but it still tasted old. I’m not sure if the cashews were rancid when this was made, but that was a waste of $6.

I would avoid this brand like the plague. It's the most expensive stuff on the market and tastes the worst. I've never hated a freshly baked cookie until I tried this. I liked the flavoring, especially for the minimal ingredients used but the consistency was slightly off from what I would consider cookie dough. This chocolate chip cookie dough can be enjoyed raw or can be baked into cookies. It is gluten free, dairy free, and grain free. I purchased this because my family is participating in Whole30 this month and can't have gluten, dairy, grains, or added sugar. But, we wanted to enjoy a little treat so I got this. It's made with simple and clean ingredients like cashews, organic maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt, baking soda, and organic chocolate chips. The dough is not overly sweet and almost has a little bit of spice to it. I can't taste the cashews, but if you have a nut allergy then I don't recommend this. We ate the dough raw, just made cookie dough balls. They were yummy! A little bit was enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. My only complaint is that it is a little pricey. The container was not even filled to the top so I feel like we got ripped off a little bit. Otherwise, it's a yummy product. I received an incentive to write this review.
