[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the last 2 months I have been trying the Downy Intense Fabric Softener in Floral Scent, and I just love fragante scents. The smell is very strong and sweet — you notice it as soon as you open the bottle. After washing, my clothes it kept that floral scent all day, sometimes even longer. If you like the strong fragrance, it feels nice, floral and fresh, but if you prefer something light, it might not be for you. The softener works well. My clothes came out soft, and less static. For the effectiveness, I would give it credit. The part I’m not fully happy about is the environmental impact. It comes in a plastic bottle, and the formula has chemicals that may not be the best for water life. That makes me think twice about using it often. Price-wise, it is more expensive than basic softeners. Still, I think it’s fair if you enjoy strong scents and how long it lasts so it balances it out. Overall, I like using it when I want clothes to smell extra fresh, but I wouldn’t call it an eco-friendly choice.

I’m honestly always impressed by the longevity of the scent on my clothes, and the variety they had in store! I had picked something similar to the intense feel of the softener I was suppose to receive so I can assume it’ll be kinda similar! Super long lasting and projects the perfect amount! Would definitely recommend!

You get a good amount in the bottle, and it does not take a lot of product to leave a fresh scent on the laundry. If you like lavender scents, this would be a great product for you. My linens are softer and fresher thanks to this product!

I love that the liquid is milky clear white so it doesn’t stain my clothes. A little goes a long way because this bottle has lasted while and I do laundry a few times a week. The price is also very affordable which is a plus. The container is also very pretty and the top cap is perfect for measuring.

I absolutely loved this fabric softener the smell is lovely very floral and elegant. I loved the way my clothes smelled after coming out of the dryer. I already purchased more and added it as my go to fabric softener scent. I would definitely recommend it is worth every penny. The smell last for days which is what I’m always looking for in fabric softener and Downy definitely did not disappoint with this one.

What I liked: The floral scent is strong and pleasant. It really leaves clothes smelling fresh, as if they just came out of the washing machine. Clothes feel soft to the touch, even towels and sheets. The fragrance activates slightly when you touch or wear the clothes, which is a nice touch. The packaging is pretty and easy to use. What I wasn't completely convinced about: The scent can be too strong for those who prefer mild fragrances. It's not a subtle scent. It promises to last up to 60 days in storage, but in my experience, the scent stays strong for a few days, then fades considerably. It can be a bit pricey compared to other brands that also soften well.

I’ve noticed with some the scent can be really strong, but with this one it’s not too strong while still leaving items smelling clean. I like to use Downy for my towels and sheets and it does its job perfectly. Leaves them soft and still smell great after a few days. Would definitely purchase in the future.
