After a bad experience with a different brand on my first try, I found that I really do enjoy the long lasting scent from Downy, a brand I trust. The good? I love the fresh floral scent of peonies! I fall right into the spring fever with this lovely smell. It doesn’t smell artificial or overpowering either. The beads are very light colored so no chance of dye leaking onto my clothing and staining either. A little goes a long way with these beads, so you definitely get your moneys worth. My laundry comes out feeling soft and fluffy too. The not-so-good? I wish they sold refills so I don’t go through so many plastic bottles! What a great scent. I will be buying this one again, I just hope they do t retire this one anytime soon!

The scent was on the heavy side , but tailoring the amount of fragrance beads is at users discretion, which is great . I added to washer barrel and added laundry . It suggested running a normal wash , which I did . Upon removing my clean laundry , was of a beautiful garden of Peony flowers . That moment alone made me realize not all scent boosters are made the same. Once I actually read the bottle and noticed it also has softener in it, I knew exactly what I wanted to try it on. Sheets and duvet covers. Best decision. I added about a quarter capful to my small load and it was perfect for me. Once washed, the scent completely transforms. It’s soft, clean, and comforting, not overwhelming at all like it can feel from the bottle. Just the right amount of freshness and softness.
