It takes a bit to adjust to using such a small iron and it takes a bit longer than the large surface area a standard-size iron would allow, but if you have the patience, this one will work perfectly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mini iron is the convenience I never knew I needed. I wear a lot of hats, and this is perfect for restoring shape to my cotton newsboys. The lowest temperature setting was gentle enough for an heirloom baby gown. My daughter is also into costume design for cosplay and such, so this is great for her work. The only thing missing (for me) is steam, but I just mist the cloth with a little water when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Petite Press Portable Mini Iron needs a lot if improvements. Even on it's highest setting it really isn't hot enough to do much. I tested with scrap fabric. First ironing the wrinkles out. This took way too long, having to go over it numerous times. Then I ironed some fabri-fuse to the back to make my own appliqués. It would fuse the fabric in some spots, but I would have to go over it a few more times in other spots. The buttons to turn it on and of and to regulate the heat are in an awkward spot so anytime I would lift the iron up off of the fabric my thumb would hit it & turn it off.

I am constantly getting the iron to smooth things down and this one is so light and easy to hold and I really appreciate the way the adjustable head. It has a digital control pad which is a big plus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the handiest little iron. I sew a lot and it's so nice not to have to drag out the large iron. This iron is perfect for pressing seams, touch ups and I read you can use it on vinyl. That will be the next project! It's a great size for pressing doll clothes too! The iron has an adjustable handle so that it is comfortable for everyone to use. It has a red light when the iron is plugged in. It has four heat settings and when the iron is heated to the chosen setting, the light quits blinking. It also has a retractable stand so it's easy to sit down, adjust my fabric and continue on. I would recommend this for anyone who sews! Perfect for quilters too!
