Fun, quick game
We were provided this game from Tyrazon and Dyce in exchange for product reviews. I had never heard of an actual physical game for "This or That"...we actually did this at our wedding reception with my husband and I sitting back to back!! I've also done this verbally with students, but the concept of working down the pyramid with this game was fun. We played this game with a few different small groups of extended family members and friends (ages 6-80) and I think the little littles had a hard time with the idea of working down from the top (versus looking at the bottom row of options above the numbers and just picking out their favorite). We didn't keep score, so I can't speak to the speed of the game/ease of scoring. The one challenge (and I'm not sure how to fix it based on the nature of the game) is that when you have the cards laid out, it can be difficult for people to read upside down. Overall, it was enjoyable, quick to play, easy to learn and with the number of cards included, you will always get a different combination of cards!

Great Group Game
I received a copy of this game in exchange for my honest review, and let me say, This or That is a great game! It is so much fun to play with a group of people (up to 10). The destination base of the pyramid is put down and on top of that 10 cards are placed in pyramid form The judge looks at the cards and the path choices and to himself, decided which route he will take to get to the base. He will place his base number choice face down, now the players will try and figure out which path the judge took and will place their marker on what they think is the correct number. Everyone who guessed correctly gets a point, incorrect answers get none. Moving clockwise, the next player becomes the judge and the game continues until one player has at least 5 points, if there’s a tie, play continues until the tie is broken. It is so much fun trying guess which path the judge would take, and if you weren’t sure, you could piggy back to someone who you think knows the Judge better. Lots of going back and forth on what people are thinking, and it's really hard to keep a straight face and not give anything away. Fun, Fun, Fun

Quick easy game
the preteens loved this one. You set it up like a pyramid and the first person goes through starting at the top and picks this or that, then follows the path down based on their answers. Then the other kids guess where they ended up. The kids did enjoy laughing over the options and also played it as a single card game to poll answers!

Great ice breaker game
My family and I enjoyed this game very much. I liked the many different ways to play. I loved that there’s no right or wrong answer. We learned a lot about each other. This game would be great as a team bonding exercise or as an icebreaker game.

Super easy to learn and definitely brought some laughs! I played it with people I’m super close with so we all knew pretty much all the answers but we had a great time anyways. I think this would be a perfect coworker/ family reunion game!

If you’re looking for a crowd-pleaser that requires zero complex rule-reading, This or That is a fantastic pick. We recently played it and had a blast! The Highlights Quick & Easy: You can start playing in seconds. The gameplay is snappy and keeps everyone engaged without any "down-time." True Family Appeal: It’s rare to find a game that genuinely works for kids, adults, and mixed family groups simultaneously. Room for Improvement While we loved the vibes, we did feel the scoring system could be a bit more robust: Judge Rewards: We wish there was a way for the "Judge" to earn points so they feel more involved in the progression. Path Prediction: It would be great if you could earn points for guessing the entire path of choices, rather than just the final landing spot. It would add a nice layer of strategy to the fun. Overall Verdict: A fun, lighthearted addition to any game night. Perfect for families who want more laughs and less stress!

Fun game for family or friends
Simple to learn and quick to play. This game tests how well people know each other. You're given 2 different choices and you have to pick what you think the leading person would pick. Has replayability up to a point.

Fun way to get to know each other
This game isn't all about winning. It is about seeing how well you know the people you play it with. I played with 3 of my kids. Mom sure knows her kids well, right? But even then, there were things I got wrong on the "what if" decisions my kids answered. There are 300 questions cards where you pick an option and follow the arrows. Cards are stacked pyramid-style. Follow the arrows to find the next This or That question. At the bottom, players have to guess what number the one player would end at. There are points you can count up to find the winner. We just did it in rounds until each player had gone twice. It was not just eye-opening, but fun to see where people go based on what they liked (or disliked) most.
