Amazing cleaning
I bought this 2 weeks ago and my house has never been cleaner. The green light showing the dust shows me exactly where I need to clean. The on off button allows for longer cleaning without getting tired.

Great investment
I purchased my Next Gen about 2 weeks ago. The green light technology was an eye opener. The hard floor head is quiet and does a great job of picking up the dog hair and dirt. I like the auto setting for suction based on need. Not having a trigger is awesome since my hands are too big for my previous 8 Dyson. I ended up cracking the housing over time due to lack of space for my hand. I highly recommend the Next Gen.

Meets all expectations
Fantastic machine with great suction and very quiet and the feature i really enjoy is there is just a button to turn on and of , so no trigger to continuously having to hold and of course battery life is great as I can remove battery very easily to charge on its own if I wish AAA+

Dream clean carpets.
I have been wanting one of these for years having seen the results on a friend's carpets. When a really good sale price came up, I could resist no longer! We have a hairy dog, and this vacuum copes amazingly with the daily hair, besides lifting the pile on the carpets, giving them a fresh look and feel. I love the attachments and how easy they are to iterchange. Ergonomically, a litle large for my very small hands, but all the benefits outweigh this! Quiet operation. Easy to stop and start. The lowest suction setting is adequate for me. Super easy to empty the barrel.

The suction is very superior to the V11 I had. I found it a little heavier when I first used it, but havre got used to it now.

It works great but is a bit heavier than I though.
I purchased the Dyson vacuum cleaner and was very disappointed, the hard floor tool worked great the the tool to vacuum my carpet would not work, I spoke to Dyson about it and was told to take it back from where I purchased it, thankfully they tried it and it didn’t work so I was given another one, thankfully this one works great.

Motor Head is LOUD
Perfectly fine vacuum with nice features. Love the plush head with laser light. This is our 2nd Dyson, the V11 lasted about 6 years and just died. Reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of the Motörhead and the digital display. The XL motor is unusable because it is so loud. It sounds like it’s falling apart!! The digital read out with the different levels of dirt it’s picking up is an over engineered useless feature.

Great machine
Yes we purchased our new vacuum Dyson cleaner , my wife has some allergies to dust and this gen 5 has Hepa filters and the green light on the flat floor attachment is amazing as it shows all the dust particles and hair that most would totally miss . Our home smells so much fresher , you notice when ever we walk back in after being out . My wife is also a lot better well which was our main concern , every home needs one of these machines.
