The cordless Dyson Gen5outsize has the suction power of a corded vacuum.¹ It has HEPA filtration for our deepest, most hygienic clean. It's engineered with the larger size, power, intelligence, and additional run time to deep clean larger spaces. It has a 25% wider cleaner head and 150% larger bin compared to the Dyson Gen5detect, as well as twice the run time. The Dyson Gen5outsize covers more floor with each pass and allows for more cleaning between bin emptying and charges. It intelligently optimizes suction power based on floor type and debris picked up.⁵ The LCD screen indicates when to keep cleaning an area and when to move on. Q: Is the HEPA filter really washable? to identify its the stand-up pleated cylindrical one that looks like paper. The similar filter on the Miele cordless isn't washable, so worth asking.

I have owned 4 different Dyson cordless vacuums and this one is by far the best!! I love the suction power it has and the “bumper” on the front is absolutely wonderful! Overall works better than my other one. Although I don't think the attachment specifically for hard floors works that well (the light sure does show you just how dusty they are though!). Very disappointed there is no dok stand compatible with it available in Canada.

I love this thing especially the particle counter and the laser lighting up the dirt - it’s actually fun to use ! It struggles a bit on thicker carpet but it’s amazing on hard floors. It might be a little heavy for a smaller person but it’s acceptable .. I try and swap hands sometimes.

I am very happy with my new Dyson Gen5detect Complete vacuum. I have always thought my carpets were clean but am surprised at the amount of dirt that my new vacuum is picking up. The quality of the fittings is superior to other brands is obvious and I would highly recommend this cleaner.
