A: They have attachments for sale on Amazon so you don’t have to keep your finger on the trigger!! It’s a lifesaver! Just search Dyson trigger lock

Poor customer service. I was one month out of my warranty when the brush head stopped working. I contacted customer support and was told the part was out of stock and they have no idea when it will be in stock. Here I am seven months later with no brush head meaning I cannot use this vacuum on carpeting. Battery does not last long. I had to buy two vacuums. You have to hold the trigger the entire time when using. Customer service is very poor. I will never purchase another product from Dyson. I have invested over $800 in a vacuum. I can’t use and support still will not help me even though they do not have the part. I even tried the offbrand on Amazon, but it was no good. I spent hours on hold and chatting with their customer service for over two days.

At first I loved this vacuum. It’s like no other. Originally purchased December of 2022. However, come January 2025 the vacuum is nothing more than a door stop. After I press the trigger it does not remain on. I’ve consulted support and forums and tried everything from cleaning the filter, replacing the filter, checking for blockages, etc. all to no avail. It seems the problem stems from a faulty power switch/ trigger. It’s a known issue for this model and Dyson has done nothing to remedy. Do your research. For a premium product it’s sad that it only lasts 2 years. Shame on Dyson.
Could do with a lock to hold the trigger.

Wifey thought that holding the trigger whilst holding the handle was a little uncomfortable, would have been a good idea to have a latch that you can slide to hold the vacuum on whilst cleaning, she says it’s a little to heavy to hold and becomes slightly uncomfortable and unergonomic whilst holding the trigger at the same time. I thought it was ok though.

Great accessories and ease changing to a handheld. Very effective at removing pet hair. The battery life is much longer than my previous Dyson V10, it’s also much more quiet! . As an owner of several Dyson products from hair care, to fans and vacuums- I couldn’t recommend a better company to support!

Also, I love built-in crevice tool, I use it a lot and am very happy I won’t ever misplace it as I used to with my other Dyson. Great performance overall, absolutely worth to upgrade from an older model to V15.

I wish they had sturdier bracket for mounting since the vacuum is on the heavier side. I absolutely love the fluffy optic cleaner head - you can see all the dust particles on the hardwood floor that is not otherwise visible. Hair screw tool is a great plus too, helps when vacuuming the bathroom floors. Overall a good investment for a powerful vacuum.

I was so excited for this vacuum. I did so much research on the best vacuums, and this one kept coming up over and over, so I wanted it. I loved it, and it worked well for about 9 months and then the power started cutting out even with a fully charged battery. Customer service told me it couldn’t be fixed, and I would need a new vacuum. Luckily it has a 2 year warranty, but the new vacuum will probably do the same thing in less than a year! Horrible quality for the price! I expected it to last YEARS, and it didn’t even make it 1. This is a very common problem with the V15. Do not buy a Dyson!

Outrageously priced brick. Bought it. Tried it. Returned it. Got a shark for a fraction of the price. Dyson used to be great vacuums. Now they are just trying to grab every dollar they can of their name before even the name isn't worth anything. The lost their minds with this one. You can find better vacuums on Temu. Seriously, and yourself the headache and get a shark.

So I eyeballed this vacuum for quite a while and I was suckered in by the green light and the Black Friday deal. This was my first Dyson purchased having made the switch from Shark. Let me tell you, save your money. Everyone always talks about how amazing the suction is but I was extremely disappointed for the price point I paid. Now I will also say it is an adjustment as this was my technically my 2nd cordless vacuum but the first that has held up. My Tinco was the first and it has equivalent suction at half the price point but lasted only a few months. I live near woods and this unit struggles to pick up leaves. Anyways, do not use this vacuum on anything other than a hard surface (tile, laminate, hardwood surface) it will work on an area rug or stairs but beware the battery will drain doing a carpeted stair and a low pile carpet even at that. The unit does charge relatively quickly so that does help. The washable reusable filter is easy to clean and nice to not have continuous filters to buy and replace. I found it a bit cumbersome changing between attachments as the promo videos all make it seem easy and effortless so this is a negative for me. I also extremely dislike having to turn the unit off to change attachments because if you try to change attachments while unit is on the suction isn’t there. You have to start and stop in order to engage the suction just making it a hassle and not easy to quickly clean. Now let’s talk about the green light. As someone who owns 2 dogs that shed tremendously the green light will disgust you. You will see EVERY spec of dirt. You think it’s cool until you get in your home and see what filth you’ve been living in. Be prepared for your jaw to drop. Lol. Ironically it also takes longer to vacuum with the green light on bc you will see every spec of dust, you want to get every spec of dust and you really don’t realize how much dirt and dust settle in your home when you have pets. I found myself vacuuming 3-4 times a day but it’s kinda moot point because your house will never be clean other than to naked eye. Finally the other selling point for me is that this vacuum is extremely light weight and is agile meaning it’s easy to maneuver. If it wasn’t so expensive I’d give it a higher rating but I just don’t think it’s worth the price point and barely worth the Black Friday price.

SO BAD. Please save your money. Parts break and customer service is HORRIBLE. If something breaks don’t expect a replacement part for months or at all. They had me send my vacuum in 5 months ago to fix but won’t send it back! Insane.

I dreamed to get Dyson for a very long time. I did big research to find what kind of Dyson is more appropriate for our household. Dyson V15 Detect seemed to me what we needed. I flying like a helicopter in our house and can hoover it in no time 😉 The brash is perfect size and suitable to do the stairs. We have 3 different kind of flooring such as carpet, Lino & laminate floor. Dyson is Super hero and is doing its job with the honor. It’s not only just tool in our family - it is like a pet/toy everyone wants to get and use it. Dyson is a such brilliant invention, which makes hoover easier and should be in every home

I bought this a couple of months ago and my golden doodle was leaving hair everywhere. This vacuum got every hair! The light will make you question your cleaning abilities but it will definitely reassure you that you made the right purchase!!
