    First time owning a 'stick' vacuum cleaner.

    This is the first time I have had a 'stick' vacuum cleaner so I spent quite a lot of time looking at the Dyson Vacuum Cleaners and the reviews before deciding on the V15 Detect Absolute. The suction on this cleaner is very impressive and, although I have not had a Dyson previously to compare with, think it was a good choice. The tools are easy change and it is obvious how they fit.

    Great Suction, but…

    I bought this vacuum at ABT Just over a week ago. After using the Dyson vacuum, I found that it does have great suction. It also has a variety of tools to enhance your cleaning. However, it’s very hard for me to use. The Vacuum is very top heavy because that’s where It’s placed in the charger. Also, you have to hold the trigger the whole time you vacuum. There is no on/off switch. Therefore, it’s hard for me to handle the vacuum. My finger gets cramped and my arm hurts. You can’t vacuum a large area because of the fatigue of using the machine with the awkwardness of holding the trigger the whole time and the weight of the top of the vacuum. I’m very disappointed with this purchase.

    Loud and Too Much Suction Power

    Do not like how loud the head is when it spins. It's very loud and clunky. The V15 we bought 2 years ago was much better in this regard. The suction even on the lowest setting and raising the head to the highest level off the floor is too strong for carpets - even thin mats. Would like to see a lower suction setting - or just bump all the suction levels down (we never need to use the "boost" mode; it's way more than necessary).

    I have it 3 weeks and honestly I am not impressed The battery runs out very quickly and the charger does not connect very well to battery And the suction is not good

    It’s generally easy to use. I wish the battery life was longer, and that it came with narrower attachments for getting into crevices.

    Great feature

    I bought this about a month ago and love how easy it is to vacuum floors daily, I especially love the green light to see hair and dust I can’t see with the naked eye. I only wish the crevice tool had light as well.

    Great suction

    I have been wanting a Dyson for a long time and it doesn’t disappoint! The suction on carpet is amazing. The light on the floor brush is quite useful for seeing dust the naked eye misses. I’m very happy with my purchase.

    Great

    Was initially on the fence due to the cost, but very easy to use and power and suction was excellent. Battery life much better than anticipated and easily lasts almost an hour on auto mode which is more than enough to complete the full house. Would definitely recommend. Is quite loud on high suction mode but this is rarely needed. Easy to empty and clean.

    Great features!

    I been purchasing Dyson products for at least 15 years. I like that this one especially, it has a lot of suction. Battery run time is great. I love that it’s cordless! Quality is good. Easy to clean it out. Like the big basket to catch all the dirt and dust.

    Good product

    Overall, a great product. I can do the whole house on one charge. The light that shows the dust on the attachment for the floors is really effective. It is a bit heavier than I thought it might be and I had 2 blisters on my right hand after the first usage, but I’ve adjusted to all that now. I would recommend this product.

    Love my V15

    Strongest-suctionhousehold vacuum I have owned; lightweight and very manoeuvrable. Easy to hang on a wall. I love it. Lower noise level than any of my old ones, too. Battery life’s fine for our smallish house.

    Great suction power!

    The Dyson suction is so great! I think my old vacuum must have been just terrible at getting up dirt and pet hair because I’m getting so much with the new Dyson that I’m having to empty it after every room! I feel like my house is finally getting a good cleaning!
