extremely good mascara, have been using for a few years now!! big tip: you have to wipe off some of the product on the opening each use so your lashes aren’t clumpy. totally worth the purchase, do not skip!!

This mascara is awful! So clumpy and flakes A LOT. A disappointment from this brand.

Was rated #1 by Good Housekeeping for not clumping, but did not live up to the rating. Hard to use the wand as the bristles are very short, and the wand is straight. Makes a big mess! No better than others for clumping, it had a lot of clumps and dries too quickly to add layers or comb out the clumps. Would not recommend! Also smears by later in the day.

I like this mascara because it’s cheap, but I find it gets clumpy very quickly and also distributes a lot of product, even when I try to wipe the excess off on the side of the tube. I always end up having to use a wet rag to wipe the excess mascara of my lashes so I don’t look like a spider.

It's all in the mascara brush and this one is really good. I've seen brushes on high end brands that aren't this good.

I wanted to like this mascara, but after using it multiple times I just can't. It is so clumpy and creates tons of little blobs on your eyelashes even if I take the excess off the spool before applying. It also takes forever to dry and smudges SO much. I only apply mascara to my top lashes, but after blinking a few times it transfers to my bottom lashes and then smudges making me look like I have dark circles.

This mascara is very easy to apply, and it goes on clump-free. The spoolie is pretty good. However, the mascara starts smudging under eyes very quickly. I tested it several times, and made sure I never touched my lashes or eye area each time. I wore my usual skincare products (none of which go very close to my lashes). I returned it. Glad for Target's return policy for cosmetics...very easy, no questions asked. (I even gave the reason for return but don't think it was made note of.)

Hated the mascara brush. Was very stiff and straight. It Barely distributed any product on my lashes. I was afraid I’d stab myself in the eye. Returned it and bought Maybelline mascara which had a huge, soft, curved brush. MUCH better!!

Occasionally I'll try others, but I always come back to this one.

It's a shame I couldn't wear this because I liked the brush and I thought the formula applied nicely. Unfortunately it starts flaking immediately once dry. The flakes fell right into my eyeball, and right away my eyes started to burn, sting and tear. I thought maybe my eyes were just extra sensitive that day, but the same thing happened the next time I used it. Into the trash it went. I've never had a reaction like his to a mascara before

I was told how good elf mascara was so I got this, if u can get any on ur lashes it will smudge in a few minutes. I wouldn't recommend getting this.

Even though if not careful the brush can be pokey, I still love that it only took one coat to really lenghten my lashes and that the brush catches even the smallest lashes at the inner corner and outer edge of my lashes. Great value and would certainly consider repurchasing.

made my lashes look so thick and healthy, and it lasts all day and feels great.

Was using another elf product that was discontinued. Tried this. Brush is awkward. What little product you can get on your lashes will smudge all over. Wouldn't recommend.

my go-toooo now fs. i’ve been using black mascara for my lashes n brows but this brown is what i’ve been missing. plz don’t discontinue everrrrr i love it SM. <333

Very clumpy. Even after trying to wipe off the excess before applying, the product sits on the wand in blobs. Doesn’t really provide much length either.

For a $6 mascara I really enjoy this! It’s not OVERLY volumizing, but for a more laid back day to day look this does the job. I just purchased my second tube. Doesn’t flake or smudge on me either.
