Having the separate sections has helped me during the hot season to separate my scraps. I’m able to close the cinch strings on the top until I can take it off. It’s very sturdy and ls well made! I really like how after stepping on lever to open the can, when you release it to close, it closes smoothly with very little noise! I’m happy I found this can!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent midsize recycling trash can! The 8 gallon bags fiy perfectly into the trash side and both compartments slide out super easily. The design is very sleek and I even knocked on the sides a bit to see how well the stainless held up and it really is noy easy to dent despite being pretty thin and light weight. I even tested multiple times and the shiny surface won't even hold a fingerprint! The step mechanism is very smooth and responsive. And overall between the trendy looks and convenience of it, it will be a pleasure to use. I would say the size would appropriately keep up with a single person or couple in the main living space or it would also work well in an office space or secondary kitchen/laundry area. A fabulous find!

Pros: a lid that closes to help contain garbage and smells, nice stainless steel look to match my appliances, pedal to step on to open the garbage, ability to lock the lid open Cons: since the can has 2 sides, one for trash and one for recycle, each side is fairly small. For a couple or a small family this wouldn't be a con, but for a larger family it has to be emptied very frequently. It doesn't fit large items well, and the cans would occasionally get pushed down inside, past where they rest making it harder to get them out. Like I said, I really like this trash can, and maybe after the kids move out it will be a great permanent addition to our kitchen.

There’s also a switch on the inside used to keep the lip open while changing the bags and emptying the recycling. It’s very simple yet stylish. The only thing is, the packaging says it’s fingerprint resistant, but you will see some prints.

Opens very easily with the pedal. Has a locking feature so the lid doesn’t close if you should need it open. It came with bags specifically used for this model. That is the only negative to me is the smaller bags. But it has been great for composting for our garden.

It has a good capacity for our utility room. The recycling component has a handle for lifting it out which is a good design. I do wish the two compartments came in different colors so the kids won’t confuse them.

The metallic colour is very vibrant and goes along with any type of your furniture . The look is very modern it’s definitely a big upgrade for my old plastic trash can . It’s arrived in a safe proof packaging . I was doubtful about the size before it’s arrived but actual size it’s perfect .

The separate compartments for trash and recycling are really convenient, and it feels great to FINALLY have an organized setup. It’s extremely easy to use, the pedals work smoothly, and the lids open and close perfectly every time. The fingerprint-resistant stainless steel looks great in my kitchen, and I love how clean and modern it feels. Really makes my whole kitchen look better! Honestly, if you’re on the fence, it’s absolutely worth upgrading your trash can to something like this. It makes managing waste and recycling so much easier and is built to last. Highly recommend! I love the two compartments for recycling and regular trash. Although it says that it is fingerprint resistant, I am seeing fingerprints already on the lid. The other down side is that the trash side needs a special bag size, but it is still a great product for what it is.

It has 2 inner containers of different sizes, so not a normal setup but you can use one side for garbage and one side for recycling.
Its a great upgrade!

This one matches our trash can, plus it has the great addition of dual compartments. Glass can be kept separate from other stuff, which helps on trash takeout day! I also love the soft close lid, which has a lock switch to keep it open while changing out the bins. My only negative thing is that it is a bit tall for our countertop. The lid hits it when opening, so we have to just be gentle with it, but not a huge deal.
